These registry tweak works on Windows XP, and I’ve tried on Windows Vista… and see how good it is that it works.

For Moving the Address bar On XP and Vista :

  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  2. Look for the registry subkey: ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser’
  3. If you don’t have ‘WebBrowser’ key Right-click ‘Toolbar’, choose New, then click DWORD Value.
  4. In the New Value #1 box, type ITBar7Position, press ENTER.
  5. Right-click ITBar7Position, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
  7. Exit regedit, and then restart IE7

Same procedures for Vista Except you may have to turn off the UAC.
