Search TV Episodes on Bittorent Sites Easily

Are you a TV show freak? You’d love to watch every episode of TV shows but couldn’t because you don’t have the time to watch it when it’s airing on TV? You can easily download them from torrent but then it’s a tedious task going from websites to websites searching for the latest episode. Imagine searching latest episodes for 100 TV shows on 10 different torrent websites… I wouldn’t imagine anyone doing that!

Well now you can! I found a FREE program that is able to automatically find new episodes for your favorite TV shows. Currently it is able to support searching for exactly 100 types TV shows. Some of the examples are Desperate Housewives, Lost, Heroes, My Name Is Earl and etc… I’ve never seen an easier way to search for latest TV episodes.

Managed Pointers to Managed Objects (or Aliases for Objects) in C# and Visual Basic .NET

One of the biggest advantages of managed frameworks/platforms like Microsoft’s .NET Framework (and it’s Linux-counterpart, Mono), and Java is that you, as a developer, have a choice of not mucking around with pointers. To be totally honest, with Java you’re forced not to - in C#, it’s a choice you have to make.

There’s plenty of good reasons for not using (unsafe!!) pointers, but that’s not the issue here. The question is, what if you want something to “point” to another object, and synchronize it’s value automatically, without resorting to unsafe pointers? There’s actually a quite simple answer using just a single line of C# code.

Whereas in C++ you could write something like what appears below, in C# you’d have to declare it as unsafe, then jump through a hundred hoops to get it to properly point to a managed object:

MSBlog’s 2nd Birthday!

July 30th, 07 is MSBlog’s 2nd birthday! On behalf of MSBlog, I would like to thank each and every one of you faithful readers for visiting our site.

In the past year, there was ups and downs, where some of our posts brought a lot of traffic, while some of the posts, well,  kind of made people angry and they left.

In the coming year, with the release of Windows Vista, we hope to bring you news about Vista SP1, Windows Server 2008 and other yet-to-be-released software by Microsoft. It’s going to be huge when Windows Server 2008 is released!
