Einer meiner Haupthängezustände mit Vista ist der `Suchstab'. Als ich zuerst anfing, Vista zu benutzen, glaubte ich, daß Microsoft eine große Sache getan hatte - sie bildeten sie, also könnte ich mein Lieblingsprogramm mit einem Klicken anstelle von zwei ausstoßen.

Ich war schnell enttäuscht, um zu finden, daß, wenn Sie ein Wort in den Suchstab schreiben, er nichts wie das alte Start->Run Befehl Stabfenster ist-. Es fängt an, während der Wörter, die Sie eintippen und vieler Male zu suchen Sie warten… und warten… und mehr warten müssen.

Zusätzlich, wenn Sie wie ich… sind und eine alte Gewohnheit des klickenden Anfangs haben, laufen Sie dann, dann Art c:\, zum Ihres Festplattenlaufwerks zu erschließen… sind Sie innen für Lose Spaß mit dem Suchstab. Abhängig von was es findet, es öffnet fast nie Ihr Festplattenlaufwerk im Forscher.

Ich fand einige schnelle Wege, die Schmerz zu erleichtern. Zuerst von allen können Sie den Fensterschlüssel + das R einfach halten, zum der Befehl Linie Fenster oben zu holen. Das ist das einfachste.

Sie können auch erhalten, Befehl auf das Anfangsmenü zurück laufen zu lassen. Dieses kann durch Recht getan werden…

So scheint es, daß die Spitzen RC0 für Windows Bediener 2008 gewesen sind bekanntgegeben zu den intarwebs (redigieren Sie: möglicherweise sprach ich zu früh - die Verbindungen zeigen noch bis Beta3, aber werden kurz aktualisiert werden). Wie ich in einem vorhergehenden Pfosten sagte, ist die CTP Freigabe der „Viridian“ Virtualisierung Technologie in dieser Freisetzung von Windows Bediener eingeschlossen.

Ben Armstrong hat einiges gute Anzeigen für jedermann, das dieses heraus versuchen möchte, also mich würde sehr viel empfehlen, daß Sie überprüfung sein Pfosten gehen, bevor Sie mit der Installation fortfahren.

Sachen, zum im Verstand zu halten:

• Dieses ist eine Vorbetrachtungfreigabe - die Leistung dieses Baus ist nicht nirgends nah an, was es an der RTM Freigabe der Windows Bedienervirtualisierung ist.
• Das Anbringen des CTP von „Viridian“ hindert Sie an der Höhereinstufung zu einem neueren Bau von Windows. Wenn Sie „Viridian“ CTP anbringen, gibt es keinen Aufsteigenweg - Sie müssen entweder sauber Ihren Bediener oder uninstall anbringen das „Viridian“ CTP, bevor Sie zu einem neueren Windows Bau verbessern.
• “Viridian” requires you have a processor that has Hardware-assisted Virtualization (Intel VT or AMD Pacifica) present and enabled in the BIOS. On AMD machines we require that the processor stepping

This software is an optional supplement to Microsoft Windows Server 2008. In Windows Server 2008 RC0, the Streaming Media Services role (which includes the latest version of Windows Media Services) and remote administration tools are not included in Server Manager. To get the new features and tools available in Windows Media Services for Windows Server 2008 RC0, such as the built-in WMS Cache/Proxy plug-in, you must obtain and run the appropriate Streaming Media Services role installer file on the updated platform.

These Microsoft Update Standalone Package (MSU) files install either 32–bit (x86) or 64–bit (x64) versions (as noted in the file names) of:

Yehaw! , today I pleased to announce the availability of Windows Server 2008 Release Candidate 0, and with it…the very first public release of Windows Server virtualization (codenamed Viridian).

You can download the bits today as part of our customer technology preview (CTP)program.

Not only does this milestone indicate that Windows Server 2008 is ready to march down the path to RTM….but it also is the first time WsV will be part of the code base and available to everyone. Now is the time for organizations to start testing with key virtuzliation scenarios…such as server consolidation….as well as getting ready for many of the other key features of Windows Server 2008.

With Windows Server virtualization CTP, customers will now be able leverage the scalability of hypervisor-based platform and features, including multi-processor guests, large memory allocation (more than 32 gigabytes per machine) and integrated virtual switch support that enables IT organizations to virtualize most workloads.

The Windows Vista Team Blog just announced that Vista SP1 beta has been released to a private group of beta testers on connect.microsoft.com. Also released are five ‘reliability packs’, which will ultimately be included in SP1, but will also be released earlier so your Vista experience is “the best we can make it”. Now the question is how long will it take for SP1 to reach the P2P sites? I’m guessing it’s uploading to one now, time to go hunting…
