Ik liep over een post op Het Team Blog van de Verenigbaarheid van het uitzicht getiteld „SetThreadPriority van de sleutel van de Looppas“ dat bespreekt een verandering in Uitzicht waardoor het roepen van SetThreadPriority van een toepassing die van de Startomslag en de „sleutel van de Looppas“ in de registratie wordt gelanceerd niet de prioriteit van de draad om zal veroorzaken worden verhoogd.

Willend rond met dit verifiëren en spelen, schreef ik een eenvoudig programma dat riep SetThreadPriority om de prioriteit van de draad aan THREAD_PRIORITY_HIGHEST te plaatsen. Het toen onmiddellijk geroepen programma GetThreadPriority om te bepalen als de vraag aan SetThreadPriority om het even welk effect had. Daarna, in een lijn, riep het programma toen SetThreadPriority/GetThreadPriority tot of een fout werd ontmoet, of GetThreadPriority keerde de verwachte prioriteit terug. Het programma dat before and after elke vraag aan SetThreadPriority/GetThreadPriority wordt geregistreerd de tijd, de actie, en de of parameters of de terugkeerwaarde.
