VMWare realmente ora ha avuto questo attrezzo per un abbastanza certo tempo. Il convertitore di VMWare per Windows è stato liberato in gennaio di 2007. Ho avuto appena una probabilità usarla e funziona grande.

Potete convertire una macchina fisica in VM mentre sta funzionando. Quella è destra - nessun tempo morto per convertire un sistema. Ciò è perfetta quando dovete verificare qualcosa su un assistente in tensione di produzione… ma non desidera rischiarla.

Alcune cose da guardare fuori per quando usando esso:

- Se avete Windows 2003, XP, o Vista l'interruttore alla macchina virtuale innescherà l'attivazione del prodotto. Se non fate autorizzare ad un OEM questo può essere un problema… e può impedirgli di completare la vostra operazione.

- Non potete fare funzionare il convertitore sulla stessa macchinasiete convertendo che iete convertendo. Dovete farli funzionare sulla rete, o generate un disc del caricamento del sistema. Un disc del caricamento del sistema sarebbe difettoso poiché questo causerebbe un pezzo significativo del tempo morto.

- Converta rapidamente ed attendibilmente le macchine fisiche locali ed a distanza in macchine virtuali senza alcuna rottura o tempo morto.

Più roba Windows deve iniziare in su durante il caricamento del sistema, più lungamente prenderà per completare.

So, with that in mind, the first thing you need to do is start unloading programs which are set to start automatically when you boot Windows. There are two places, primarily, that you want to look at:

1. Look in the “Startupâ€� folder in your Start Menu. Anything in that folder is set to start automatically. To remove a program from this folder, simply navigate to the “Startupâ€� folder in your Start Menu, right-click on the item you want to remove, and choose “Deleteâ€� from the menu. This is an awesome Vista theme with an old world feel. It features a huge sail boat being pulled into a beach set between rugged mountians. I love the attention to detail in this theme. It also features a wonderful green sidebar.

I knew this was going to happen someday, as Ubuntu is more and more popular each day.
