[Vista/XP] Add Safely Remove Hardware (UNPLUG) in Right-Click/Context Menu

rightclickmenuunplug

These past few weeks I always encountered this problem in Windows Vista, my safely remove icon is missing in system notification area or taskbar. Although, after a few reboots, it came back. So, Instead of cleaning your registry or digging up a solution again and again. If your in a hurry and you don’t mind about it. Just open or launch the window  manually using the command or, either manually or just download winbubble to Add the Safely Remove Hardware to your Computer or Disk Context Menu.

Command to launch Safely Remove Hardware Window

Rundll32 shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL HotPlug.dll

Note: This is a case-sensitive command (from Control_RunDLL), so just copy and paste to Run window (Win+R) or Start Search

Using WinBubble you can Customize and add Context Menu entry or name to your Computer Icon, Explorer/Desktop, All Files, Disk Icon, Network and Folders.

winbubble 1.74

Just Click the Disk Icon > Type any name, It should be "Safely Remove Hardware" but I put "UNPLUG" instead. > paste the command and Click the Add Button. It’s easy…Right?

Anyway, For those who think that this will make them dumb, here’s how to do it manually. Also, for Windows XP users, use these steps:

I’m a Geek  /  wan’na be Geek

1. Read this first and study How to Add an entry to your Context Menu

2. Use the command above

In the incoming version, WinBubble 1.74:

There’s an option to add "Safely Remove Hardware" to your Computer Context Menu. Just Click to Check and press "Alt-A" or just press the Apply Button.

At least before the new version comes, you know now how to add it manually or just play with WinBubble.

Enjoy Learning Windows!!!

Day 1-3,4: Development of Youtube File Hack Tool 1.1

Due to the users acknowledgment and suggestions. I decided to continue developing the next version of Youtube File Hack For Internet Explorer’s Right-Click Menu.

Day 4

I got bored already. Youtube Sucks? nope… Youtube Rocks! The website is so simple and fun to use that I can’t find anymore something to tweak. Development: PAUSED, version 1.1 is almost finished.

Day 3

I spent the whole day writing the code for the new version. Also, I decided now to focus the program on Internet Explorer only. Firefox already has tons of youtube downloaders.

One idea came to my mind. Why not create a program as a Youtube Browser Only? Independent from Firefox and IE. Although I used the Microsoft Control to browse the Internet, there is something that makes this one better. SPEED. I already created the small tool and It’s very very efficient. Why?

Normal Way of Downloading the Youtube Video

Watching Youtube clips >> Get the Link >>> Download from Youtube >> USER

GuggleTube: Watch and Download (a small Youtube Browser)

Watching Youtube clips >> Download from Youtube >> USER

Wow! It Saves time by getting the link automatically.

Speed: 1.5-2X faster or more!

Day 2

day2

Like in Windows Vista, You cannot please everybody. So, I decided to put a checkbox if you don’t like the program to ask again and again. Also, I don’t like adding another Context Menu.

Right-Click > Download. CTRL+V to Paste the Filename. That’s it.

I spent the whole day reading, watching youtube (experiencing how to use the system itself), Thinking deep and scanning all my references including Youtube API. I always do this when I am creating a program. I always want to see all the possibilities that may arrived and just maybe, something magical pops-up in my head. Even if the program is very very simple.

"Whatever you findeth doing, Always do your might"

Day 1

mp4

Recently, I just finished the code on how to automatically know if the youtube video has a High-Quality (HQ) format that is allowed to view by YouTube.com.

The next version is intelligent enough to know that feature and It will ask you if you’d like to Download it as MP4 format or not.

The logic is like this…

"Do you have an HQ video my friend (Youtube.com)? mmm… let me think."

(Youtube) "Yes I have."

"Do you want to download it or not?"

Here’s the College Official Green Band Trailer, Download the youtube movie trailer in HQ to your hardisk now!

How about the New Batman movie Trailer: Dark Night?

The Main Differences

1. Size

college the movie

2. Quality

There’s a difference in the quality but not so much. If some videos are encoded properly, you can see a large difference… I will say this is a large step for Youtube.com in making HQ streaming videos available for everyone.

How about HD? I can’t have that. That’s a huge bandwidth that maybe someday will become cheap…

Try and Download

Here’s the Pre-Release of the Next version of YOUTUBE FILE HACK:

Day 1 Pre-Release version: Download now

The file is 91 KB Zip File, 90.7kb to be exact… and After Opening the file for the first time. Please Read this Guides, Tips and Tricks.

Enjoy!!!
