AntispywareMaster may also disable the Task Manager and Registry, sometimes even making logon impossible. For those PC users who can interpret logs, HiJackThis will help a lot to identify malicious files and registry entries. Then they can be remove in Safe Mode. a-squared command-line scanner is a nice tool, too, to get rid of the malware, especially when no new software can be installed due to system corruption.

This is all all a bunch of garbage. I have the AntiSpyware Master on my laptop and following the manual instructions do not work in getting rid of this trogen. First I cannot find AntiSpywareMaster.EXE to delete it. Second I cannot find: AntiSpywareMaster 7.3.exe or AntiSpywareMaster 7.3.url.

Can someone please help me to actually get rid of this?

Thank you
Mike
