If you have a reasonable amount of memory this tweak will do essentially nothing. This setting effects only a small portion of the kernel, known as the executive. By default Windows is able to page this out if necessary, but it will only do this under heavy memory pressure. When this occurs it is usually best to allow Windows to make it’s own decisions. As for the statement that Windows does this periodically - how could anyone possibly know this. There is nothing in Task Manager or Performance Monitor that will tell you this. This is nothing more than a quess, based on a faulty understanding of how things work.

This setting was of some value on Windows98 and older systems. On modern systems it is of no real interest except for a few very unusual situations.

Cool tip - I remember also there was a key shortcut similar to the ‘tab’ autocomplete but for the command history. I thought it was meta-p or backspace p or something but it eludes me atm

Hola buenas noches ,., quiero dar mi comentario acerca de lo que esta ocurriendo en mi pais Honduras ,.
es un abuso mas que un golpe de estado para el presidente manuel zelaya,.solo porque un grupo burgues no esten de acuerdo en que una poblacion mayoritaria de pobres quieran una ayuda por parte del presidente ,.d la nacion es un caos el que se forma por toda esta situacion,.,
y se sabe que es un complot el que se formo hoy desde la madrugada que sacaron al presindente zelaya de su casa d habitacion,., y se llevo hasta hacer que otra persona tomara su pocicion en la presidencia,,. es algo absurdo que crean que el pueblo se quedara con las manos sin hacer nada viendo comoe stos señores hacen lo que c les antoja con el pais ,, porque como son ellos los que se creen dueños de honduras,., no respetan la ley desde el momento en que c pucieron de acuerdo para ese rapto del presidente desde alli estan actuando mal,., y si los correos que entran solo a favor del congreso pues son ellos mismos los que mandan un sin fin de correos para dejar mal al presidente,., porque saben que la mayor parte de la poblacion que esta con mel son personas que no tiene internet ni acceso a el y d eso c aprobechan,. asi como lo dijo el analista ,,hoy en la tarde,.estoy de acuerdo con el,.y ,que Dios bendiga mi pais,., y que se haga justicia,.,

I pick up the virus on occasion and the ca software antivirus tool right on my yahoo toobar eliminates it. you might consider installing the toolbar just for the free anvirus scan. it generally scans 80,000 items in less than 60 secs. and might find 5-40 cookies and the occasional virus. it’s a nice little addition.
