what happens if you cnat access sfae mode to run and dont have access to xp disk

im in a situation were i cant get my o/s to work due to hal.dll
and tyring differnt methords of trying to repair this

and i want to try system restore but dont have disk or cnat get to sfae mode / command promt

any ideas???

Sorry, in my last comment I said “since they stopped making it.” I should have been more clear: Since they stopped making the original “Natural” keyboard. They still make the “Ergonomic Natural” which has a divide, but they’ve completely messed up the shaping of the keys and the depth of the keys relative to the palmrest. For me, it didn’t work at all, whereas the original was great. And it still has that spacebar problem I mentioned (tap tap tap THUNK tap tap tap tap THUNK).

That “ugly divide” as you put it is crucial for ergonomics and minimizing RSI. It’s all very well offering this sort of alternative for people who don’t really need much, but why in heaven’s name couldn’t they keep supplying the venerable Microsoft Natural Keyboard with its “ugly” divide?! That was a great keyboard. Since they stopped making them, I’ve had a succession of higher-end ones (and even tried the non-divided ones like the godawful Microsoft “Comfort” keyboard), and nothing’s been quite as good.

Microsoft: Go back to the “ugly” divide, but this time, split the space bar (just make it a bit key on each side). The shenanigans you had to go through to make the spacebar work were not very successful (read: loud!) and are completely unnecessary.

I have solved the above problem, just do it. simply download and install dxwebsetup from microsoft, it is directx runtime file.

I might add, if it is just remote management (MMC) you require, there is a different setting that just opens 445 and ??? (cant remember the port). Waiting to test the final once GP has been updated.

Just get from the Regional and Language settings Format and Locatin (for win 7) to be the same for example (format : English US Location : US) and it will work. After that you can enter your city.

i have vista ultimate, COD world at war, starting error showing missing some d3dx9-37dll missing, downloaded and pasted in sytem32 folder, restarted and game crashed showing some —as of above victor-72— sound system initialization ——-
Loading fastfile ‘ui’
used 39.48 MB memory in DB alloc
Error during initialization:
Unhandled exception caught
I have done every thing like setting sound setting to 24 bit etc and mine there is no unimodem to desable. game still crashes pl help at the earliest.
