I had a hacker get into my computer so I had to completely wipe the hard drive and re-install Vista. Since then my cd/dvd drive doesn’t work and my Windows Media Player will only play MPG files. No other format will work. I tried to restore but since the day I had to re-install my Vista my recovery disc has been shown to be full. When trying to restore, I am told that there is no disc space to do the restore. I currently have 185 Gb available on drive C. This should be sufficient to do a restore. Can you help me or direct me to someone who can?

I have been running Copernic with Vista for over a year and never had a problem.
One thing I did do is completely turn off Vista Indexing BEFORE I installed Copernice. Don’t have the procedure handy or remember what I did, but search the net for turning off Vista indexing COMPLETELY–and I mean 100%. Set it so MS can’t even touch a file.
Then let Copernic work it’s magic. It’s still the best indexing software out there imo.

Thanks for this been looking at this for 3 weeks, after a migration to a new domain some of my WSUS servers would not load the GUI.
They do now. BUT!!!

I still can’t get them to sync with the main server, anyone got an idea on this.

AdHoc isn’t that great in today’s marketplace. People expect software to truly “just work” and are willing to use services that rely on the cloud to make that happen. Windows Meeting Space requires user to be on the same subnet, or else worry about how to get peer-to-peer access to one another.

I’m sure that SharedView is where Microsoft is heading with this. Although I haven’t used Office Live Meeting, SharedView works very well for me.
