Copy Plain Text in Firefox
Well, as you might have guessed, my return to Ubuntu on my home desktop, also meant the end of my Firefox Sabbatical. I simply can’t find a browser in Linux that does what I need besides Firefox (at least until Google releases a Linux version of Chrome - c’mon guys, what are you waiting for!!!).
I did want to take this opportunity to share a plug-in I recently discovered that I don’t think I could live without.
Have you ever been working in a document, or on a blog-post and copy and paste something only to have it show up in the wrong font, and possibly hyperlinked? Well, here is your solution: Copy Plain Text is, well, a Firefox plug-in that allows you to copy what you’ve selected as plain text - nothing less, nothing more. As simple as it may sound, I think it’s right up there with Sliced Bread!
Enjoy!
