Fun with Quick Launch And Address Toolbar
Using these toolbars at the side of your desktop and combo it with auto-hiding function, can make your life easier with these shortcuts and your favorite apps are easily launched from this toolbar.
So let us start…
In Windows Vista
Go to the explorer and create a folder you can create a folder anywhere it doesn’t matter where but for the sake of quick recall I suggest you create the folder on your My Documents folder and you can name whatever you like for this tip I will name the folder SAMPLEFOLDER.
Drag your newly created folder to the side of your desktop or on the top of your screen for it to dock on either in the side or in the top or which ever you dragged the folder you created to.
Right-click the folder and pick Toolbars, that is where you select any toolbar that is ready to use within the system. In our sample tip try selecting the Quick Launch Toolbar.
Remove the folder that we created by right-clicking on the toolbar and choosing Toolbars and then removing the selection for the folder name SAMPLEFOLDER if that’s the name you used too.
Now you can also have the option to show in either large or small Icons whatever tickles your fancy but I prefer large Icons. an also set it to auto-hide.
Enjoy and have fun…
