Krijg het nieuwe gezicht van Vensters XP, alvorens het!! verloopt!
2008 is hier, zijn nu tijd om de waarheid onder ogen te zien… De klok tikt op de Vensters XP van Microsoft. En terwijl Microsoft dit als natuurlijk stadium in de evolutie van een product kan bekijken dat RTM' E-D (dat aan productie wordt vrijgegeven) al manier terug in 2001 was, zal een gezond deel mensen er niet in slagen om oog aan oog met het bedrijf op dit te zien. In deze context… Het Uitzicht van vensters.
Uitzicht in 2007
Zelfs met Uitzicht heet van de persen, gaf XP geen één inkling dat het de strijd, met Microsoft ging opgeven omhoog zich concentreert bij het winden XP voor goed-beëindigt steun voor SP1 en spoedig SP2 zijn.
- Het Beheer van het Product van de Vensters van Microsoft ondervoorzitter Mike Nash op 27 September: „met meer dan 60 miljoen vergunningen die vanaf deze zomer worden verkocht, is het Uitzicht van Vensters op spoor om het snel-verkoopt werkende systeem in de geschiedenis van Microsoft te zijn.“
Zij hadden het-verkocht meer dan 20 miljoen vergunningen in de eerste maand die sinds RTM gedaan, 40million binnen eerste 100days en 60 miljoen overgaat door medio 2007. De laatste statistieken stelden van het publiek ter beschikking, dat terug naar het eind van Oktober dateert, dat aan meer dan 88 miljoen wereldwijd verkochte exemplaren van het Uitzicht wordt gericht.
Aan het eind van 2007, volgens statistieken die door Netto Toepassingen worden verstrekt, genoot het Uitzicht van een marktaandeel van 10.48% - een percentage ruwweg synoniem met 100+ miljoen verkocht exemplaren. En terwijl in enkel één enkel jaarUitzicht installeer heeft de basis het gecombineerde publiek van MAC OS X overgegaan en alle distributies Linux, wordt zijn prestaties nog waargenomen met nuancen van mislukking. En schuldig is de Vensters XP met zijn wortels die binnen stevig in de afgelopen zes jaar worden gegraven.
Het Probleem van het uitzicht
Momenteel weg gaat het Uitzicht (in het algemeen) een om te zijn wensen-eerlijk te zijn het is enkel hoe ik voel. Zekere SP1 komt uit dit jaar, en er is nog hoop dat Microsoft Uitzicht tot OS zal opvoeren dat het het potentieel heeft te zijn, maar gezicht het-daar is Heel wat gebruikers laat die niet met de stroom zullen gaan. Algemeen bekend is het Uitzicht op me gegroeid aangezien I het eerst een paar jaren geleden-i heeft meest bovenste vertrouwensSP1 zal ruilen mijn mening voor beter testte.
Onderzoek wat met Uitzicht vorig jaar is gedaald:
- Dell, PK en Acer hebben allen gevraagd Microsoft om de beschikbaarheid van XP voor extra 6 maanden gepast aan de zorgen van klanten uit te breiden.
- Vele Ondernemingen zijn langzaam geweest om Uitzicht goed te keuren toe te schrijven aan slechte prestaties en verenigbaarheidskwesties.
- Complaints have arisen regarding performance issues and the fact that Vista is so damn hungry.
XP’s Future
2008 Marks another milestone for Microsoft Windows-No it’s not Service Pack 1. It’s the real upgrade to Vista (SP0)… XP’s Service Pack 3. This final major update to XP has been dubbed by some as the Vista without the crap.
Although XP was faster than Vista before, SP3 ups the ante. Microsoft has said that SP3 features about 1073 fixes and adds some cool features from Vista to make your experience far better. Using Vista after XP seems weird-no device incompatibility warnings, pop-ups asking for permission and poor performance.
Sure this may not seem like big improvements and most of the fixes included in SP3 can already be found on Vista, but isn’t that the issue here? Now that XP is more secure and already sports any and all drivers you are currently using without costing hundreds of dollars to implement, couldn’t it be said that XP is simply the better choice? … It just works!!!
Sadly the end of June (30th )2008 marks the day where Windows XP will no longer be available pre-loaded on computers from original equipment manufactures or from retail outlets. Starting with the summer of this year (4th Quarter) and ending sometime in 2010, when windows 7 is planned, end users will only have access to Windows Vista. XP will survive a little longer with System Builders until early 2009, and until mid 2010 with the Starter edition, but sales of the Windows operating system connected with white-box PC’s are only a fraction of the Windows client businesses.
What about the Big Picture?
In the end, it’s not all about the support life-cycles and marketing, not by a long shot. With SP1, Vista will enter its first stage of evolution and with that a massively increased user-base. This will lead better support and compatibility, to increased reliability and boosted performance-XP will fade to the background and Vista will take centre stage.
So…While Office 07 and Vista get their first Service Packs-Windows XP will get its last.
