I purchased a laptop almost a year ago and have struggled with the power options ever since. I have Vista home addition.
It seems that no matter how I try to configure the power options even in the performance mode…. and advanced settings(everything set to NEVER), the thing will still shut down completely even when plugged into a power source. This is a very big inconvienence when working on a business schedule and actually wanting the laptop to stay on all the time. I do not mind if the display shuts off, but the whole system shuts down and then needs to be booted after a period of overnight or…… say 4-6 hours.
Is there a way to keep it running at all???
Thanks
