- Installing the CTP of “Viridian” will prevent you from upgrading to a newer build of Windows. If you install “Viridian” CTP, there is no upgrade path - you must either clean install your server, or uninstall the “Viridian” CTP before you upgrade to a newer Windows build. تثبيت ctp "viridian" سيمنع لكم من الارتقاء الى بناء الاحدث من ويندوز. إذا قمت بتثبيت "viridian" ctp ، وليس هناك طريق رفع مستوى -- يجب تثبيت نظيف اما الخادم الخاص بك ، او الغاء تثبيت "viridian" قبل ان تقوم ctp ترقية الى ويندوز احدث بناء.
- “Viridian” requires you have a processor that has Hardware-assisted Virtualization (Intel VT or AMD Pacifica) present and enabled in the BIOS. On AMD machines we require that the processor stepping be >=F3 (or that F2 processors have BIOS support). To determine what revision your processor is, check out the utility from "Viridian" يتطلب ديك معالج الاجهزه التي تتلقى مساعدة من المحاكاه الافتراضيه (فيرمونت انتل او AMD Pacifica) ومكن هذا في السير. - You also need to have NX (also known as XD for eXecute Disable) turned on in the BIOS. لكم ايضا الحاجة الى وnx (المعروف أيضا باسم xd لتعطيل تنفيذ) عن تحول في السير.
- “Viridian” is only available on x64 versions of Windows Server 2008. "Viridian" لا تتوفر الا على x64 اصدارات ويندوز خادم 2008.
So, now that we’ve got all that out of the way, here’s how you install it. حتى الآن ، ان جاءتنا كل ذلك للخروج من الطريق ، واليك طريقة تثبيتها.
- Install Windows Server 2008 RC0 Full (I have no idea what we’re calling the non-Server Core version, so I refer to it as “Full”). تثبيت ويندوز 2008 الخادم rc0 الكامل (ليس لدي أي فكرة تدعو إلى ما نحن غير خادم النسخه الاساسية ، ولذلك اود ان اشير الى انها "كاملة").

- Double-click on Windows6.0-KB939854-X64.MSU. - Double-click on Windows6.0-KB939853-X64.MSU. This will stage Windows Server virtualization for installation on your server, and allow it to show up in the Role Management Tool. انقر نقرأ مزدوجا على Windows6.0 - kb939853 - x64.msu وذلك من مرحلة المحاكاه الافتراضيه ويندز لتثبيته على الخادم الخاص بك ، ويتيح لها ان تظهر في دور اداة للادارة.
- Reboot the server. الخادم اعادة التشغيل.
- If it’s not already open, click the Server Manager icon from the Quick Launch bar. اذا لم مفتوحة بالفعل ، انقر فوق الايقونه من مدير مركز الخدمة السريعه اطلاق بار.
- The Roles Summary section should tell you how many Roles you have installed and how many Roles are available for installation. ادوار قسم خلاصة ينبغي ان اقول لكم كم عدد الادوار التي قمت بتثبيتها وعدد الادوار متاحة للتثبيت.
If you have 17 Roles available, press the F5 key to refresh the list. If you have 18, click Add Roles. اذا كان لديك 17 الادوار المتاحة ، اضغط على مفتاح F5 لتحديث القائمة. واذا كان لديك 18 ، انقر فوق اضافة ادوار. - From the list of available Roles, put a checkmark in the box that corresponds to Windows Server virtualization, and click Next. من قائمة الادوار المتاحة ، ووضع checkmark في الاطار الذي يتوافق مع ويندز المحاكاه الافتراضيه ، وانقر فوق التالي.
- From here, the Role wizard should guide you through the rest of the process, and reboot your server when necessary. من هنا ، فان دور المعالج ينبغي ان توجه لكم من خلال ما تبقى من عملية اعادة التشغيل والخدمة الخاص بك عند الضروره.

Is there any upgrade path from RC0 to RTM version; I mean if we install RC0 in our production environment and upgrade to RTM when it is released. هل هناك اي مسار من rc0 ترقية الى نسخة rtm ؛ يعني اذا كان لنا ان rc0 في تثبيت الانتاج والبيئة وترقية الى rtm في حين انه اطلق سراحهم. Can we do that? فهل نستطيع ان نفعل ذلك؟
