يعلن ستيف رينولدز, [بروغرم منجر] من ال [إينترنت إكسبلورر] تطوير فريق, يتلقّى فقط "تحديث" من أنواع إلى [إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7 سنة أو هكذا بعد إطلاقه أصليّة في 2006. أبدا باليت الحقيقة أنّ وعدت نحن كان تحديثات نظاميّة وأنّ "[إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7 لن [ب] مثل [إي6] ″ [ويث رغردس تو] افتقار من جديدة سمات وتحديثات, ماذا يكون فوق مع القائمة ميلان إلى جانب من الأشياء أنّ تلقّيت يغيّر مع هذا صيغة جديدة!? تلقّيت [لووك فور] بنفسي في ال "[شنجلوغ]: "

[إينترستينغ]€ ¦ هنا لقطتنا على هذا "تحديثات"

هو حقّا سوفت لا يتلقّى تطلّبت [وغ] في المكان أولى - مكروسوفت (ل بعض سبب غريبة) ضمانة مستعملات من يقرصن صيغ من [ويندووس] "فوقيّة" منفذة إلى أيّ [سكريت-رلتد] رقاع, تحسينات, و [هوتفيإكسس]. لا [تووت] مكروسوفت [إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7 بما أنّ [سكريت-بريوريتيزد] تحسين?
[نوووو]! نحن حالة حبّ ال يخفى [منو بر]! هو نظيفة, هو [كلوتّر-فر], ويعطي هو [إي7] نظرة عظيمة. بوضوح السبب هم قد وضعوا هو إلى الخلف أنّ تلقّى مستعملات اضطراب يحصل القائمة الطعام أن يبدي (لمح: صحافة `[ألت] `أن يجعل هو ظهرت), غير أنّ الذي واقعيّا إستعمالات ال [منو بر] مهما كان?! على الأقلّ جعلت هو [فيرست-رون] خيار… رجاء? يوقن, أنت يستطيع جعلت هو يخفى ثانية ب ينقر مفتاح في الخيارات لوح, غير أنّ أنّ صحيحة هكذا على نحو خاطئ على هكذا كثير مستويات…
لا تماما ماذا نحن دعانا تحسين إلى [إينترنت إكسبلورر] بنفسي كثيرا بما أنّ هو يكون تحسين إلى التوثيق خارجيّة. هو صحيحة مبرد يستضاف على سيدة نادلات أنّ مستعملات يستطيع اخترت أن يشاهد.
[موست-ولكم] لاشيء أكثر من تحسين إلى ال يعبّئ/انتشار ل [إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7, وإن كان واحدة ل [سسدمينس] وبرمجيّة مكاملة في كلّ مكان.

لا أن [هرب] على ال [إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7 فريق أو أيّ شيء; غير أنّ قد كان هو سنة, ونحن كان أملنا ل شيء لقمة أكثر جوهريّة من تحسين. ربّما [إينترنت إكسبلورر] 7.1 مع [إفن موش] تحسينات إلى [كسّ] يعالج, أداء تعزيزات على [فيستا],¹ [إينلين] [أوتو-كمبلت] أنّ واقعيّا يتذكّر [ألّ ث] [أوريس] زار أنت,² fixing the sensitive HTML parser that many times loads a page just, then errors out with a message-box saying “Internet Explorer cannot display this page.” - replacing the perfectly good HTML render with an error page, or one of the many other minor bugs that could be easily patched and would make for great changelog entries.

We could’ve done with a couple of new features as well, just something to satiate our hunger for some innovation and improvements until the Internet Explorer 8 beta comes along - nothing big, just something to keep us busy until we get something real to play with. But still, we’ll take bugfixes and performance enhancements over new features any day - it’s too bad we don’t have either with this “upgrade.”

So, yeah, Internet Explorer 7 is, overall (and especially on Windows XP because Vista IE7 performance just plain sucks), a great browser. But it’s been a year! The last time we saw this general lack of improvement/enhancement/updates was with IE6, and there is no need to remind anyone just how quickly IE6 became dead on its feet. Please Microsoft, don’t make the mistake again! Vista SP1 is on its way - what better an opportunity could one ask for to patch up IE7 and wrap it in a new & shiny build number for your users to enjoy?

In our testing, IE7 on Windows XP after > 3 months of usage verses the same on Vista was more responsive by a factor of 3 or 4 times, especially on opening and closing of new tabs!
Internet Explorer 7 notoriously “forgets” > 50% of the URIs you’ve visited. Start typing in the address bar and you’ll realize that auto-complete doesn’t even display half of the matching URIs that are in your browser history even for that same day, with no rhyme or reason to this behavior.
