Poichè avvolgiamo su 2007, ho pensato che mi ripartissi con voi emailed il comunicato di sicurezza ultima settimana trasmessa dal Ed Gibson, consigliere principale di sicurezza al nostro ufficio BRITANNICO di Microsoft nella lettura, fornente un ricordo delicato per approntare le misure precauzionali necessarie accertarli fossi sicuro quando usando il fotoricettore. Come le menzioni di Ed, se state facendo funzionare Windows Vista, voi già hanno attrezzi numerosi a vostra disposizione per contribuire a mantenere il vostri pc e cassaforte di dati quando siete in linea. Tuttavia, è sempre una buona idea accertare quei apps e gli attrezzi sono aggiornati ed ora è buoni un momento quanto c'è ne. Così fino al 2008…

Lo avete visto, colto esso, sentito esso tante volte lo avete ostruito fuori… procedura, mundane… ma prendete istintivamente le precauzioni necessarie. Ed i idiots che li pensano possono battere i portelli per gosh i sakes… una certa marca esso, più non… quando impareranno. Anche se, ritengo sospetto la prossima volta sentite questo parlato sopra il citofono nel Underground, o leggete il contrassegno di pericolo sulla parte interna del carrello prenderete appena che il supplemento in secondo luogo realmente da assicurarsi tutto è chiaro dei portelli. “Perchè? „, chiedete. “Poiché avete giusto avete letto questo!„ Nessun differente che i molti tempi avete guardato la vostra vigilanza ed allora qualcun'altro gli chiede che quando è; non potete ricordarti di, in modo da osservate ancora.
Unremarkably, lo stesso si applica quando viene ad essere in linea più sicuro. Questo anno scorso avete comprato un dichiarare-de- l'art brand-new, 2g della RAM, pc dell'azionamento duro 600g che terrà più roba che voi o potrei riempirmi mai in su in un corso della vita. Ha caricato con anti-Spam libero, software del anti-virus e tutto sta andando molto bene, così bene in effetti che non aggiornate il vostro software (Windows Vista ha aggiornamenti del `' accesi per difetto, in modo da a meno che scompigliate con esso, siete giusti), fa funzionare un'esplorazione periodica del anti-malware e la radio non sta funzionando benissimo così necessità di controllare quello. Avete letto sul governo [BRITANNICO] GetSafeOnline.org fa una campagna quella e-Baia, Microsoft, HSBC, il Ministero degli Interni, SOCA ed altre partecipano dentro, avete visto gli articoli costanti di notizie su perdita o sul furto dei dati dal più grande delle aziende e degli enti governativi (e se siete una vittima del datagate del `di HMRC', avete ogni destra essere arrabbiati) ma hey, non siete stati influenzati… perchè faccia qualche cosa. Le vittime del crimine in linea… non me, accade soltanto a quella gente che va ai luoghi di torto del `'… chi hanno provato a farli attraverso i portelli per gosh i sakes, dovrebbe sapere più meglio.

That ‘other person’ is going to be you if you don’t take a few moments to make sure your operating system and software are up to date, that your firewall is turned on (both are already done for you if you are operating Windows Vista) your anti-spam and anti-virus software are installed and updated (don’t forget to renew your subscription to the anti-malware software if it is about to expire).
Organized criminals are ‘green’, ’socially conscious agnostics’, they want what is best for you - NOT!! Just like machines, THEY DON’T CARE who you are, where you grew up, what kind of accent you have, whether you’re beautiful (or like me, a face made for radio); they operate without regard to your sex or religious affiliations - I call them “THE EQUALIZERS”. They want what is yours - from your bank account, your identity, or even a bit of your bandwidth - oh yes, they can quite happily use your computer while you do and you may not ever know.
As we approach the Holidays, don’t let the Grinch of Christmas Past ruin your holidays online. Possibly, ‘just because you read this’, you will take a moment and run the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool, will visit GetSafeOnline.org, or possibly even give the most important cyber gift of all - a trip to the wild side, WindowsMarketplace.com (click on Security Downloads) for free anti-malware. It will take you a few minutes; but a few minutes now might just save you months of hassle down the road.
Do you really want to be calling your credit card companies, bank, credit agency, DVLA, DWP, on New Year’s Eve. Or worse, worry whether someone will be showing up at your doorstep because you couldn’t be bothered to spend a measly 10 minutes with your kids to talk to them about social networking sites (oh yea, they just told their friends on their Facebook site when you were going to be away)…and you didn’t tell them how to prevent outsiders from accessing their pages. Nor did you tell them in no uncertain terms that even when they close their site everything they put on the Internet IS THERE FOREVER. Oh yes, some make it thru the doors, most don’t…when will THEY learn.
