Liveblogging MIX08: come-a, punte e trucchi

Da quando ho letto il mio primo Liveblog di Engadget, è qualcosa che abbia sempre abbia desiderato provare per me. Purtroppo non ha sembrato mai come il giusto tempo, né ho avuto gli attrezzi di destra. Naturalmente, non sono solo nella mania liveblogging.

Oggi, Rafael Rivera ed ho provato per la prima volta la a Rube Goldberg- processo ispirato che non solo ha reso nostro Liveblog principale MIX08 possibile, ma anche efficiente ed eventualmente divertimento da leggere pure.

Abbiamo avuti alcuna gente sederci intorno noi che ci domandiamo che specie di magia stavamo facendo - come una foto che prendo comparirebbe automaticamente su Flickr in una manciata di secondi ed allora nel mio blog in una coppia dei minuti - in modo da ho desiderato ripartirmi come interamente è stata fatta in modo da anche potete provarli se desiderate.

Avrete bisogno di:

Una macchina fotografica del dSLR (Nikon o Canon)
Un amico che ammette il ruolo del produttore/photographer (ortografia e una mano costante rispettivamente)
Due laptops, uno per ogni persona (ruolo).
Connettività del Internet (il buon upload, trasferisce irrilevante dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti, WiFi funzionerà)
Per di più, un evento interessante con i presentatori animati.

Softwares ed attrezzi:

Software bloccante della macchina fotografica a distanza - immagini del flusso prese dalla vostra macchina fotografica direttamente al vostro calcolatore
- Nikon: Controllo della macchina fotografica di Nikon pro
- Canon: Pro a distanza della brezza DSLR
Flickr cliente - immagazzini le vostre foto
Foldr Monitr - un software che controlla le nuove immagini della foto ed uploads loro a Flickr
Produttore in tensione di Windows - software blogging fuori linea
Flickr4Writer vivono produttore plugin - includa rapidamente le immagini di Flickr in vostri alberini del blog

Messa a punto:

Controlli la compatibilità della macchina fotografica di suddetto software come non tutti i dSLRs sono sostenuti.
Se possibile, commuti la vostra macchina fotografica al modo del USB di MTP (non memoria di massa).
Inserisca la vostra macchina fotografica via installazione. Installi i vostri driver della macchina fotografica.
Installi il software bloccante della macchina fotografica a distanza adatta.
Trasferisca ed installi Foldr dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti Monitr. Autentichi il vostro Flickr rappresentano questo software.
Trasferisca ed installi il produttore dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti in tensione di Windows.
Trasferisca ed installi Flickr4Writer dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti plugin.

Il giorno:

Punto 1. Ottenga all'evento fin da voi può ottenere le sedi migliori. Anche se avete un passaggio della pressa, non riveli 10 minuti prima che l'evento cominci. Ricordi di conservare una sede per il vostro amico se non è là con voi.

Punto 2. Sul laptop che maneggierà le immagini, faccia un nuovo dispositivo di piegatura sul tavolo che immagazzinerà tutte le immagini. Inizi il software bloccante a distanza e configuri l'indice dell'uscita a quello ch'avete generato appena. Inizi Foldr Monitr ed inoltre cambi l'indice giustamente.

Step 3. Start Live Writer on the other laptop and prepare a new blog post. Click “Insert Flickr Image” on the sidebar and fill in the Flickr username as required. Also it might be good to write a short description about the event and insert a “post split” before you overflow your main page.

Step 4. (Photographer) Start snapping pictures. Wait about 30 seconds for them to be uploaded for high-resolution images and poor connectivity. (Writer) Start writing short summaries and commentary about what’s happening.

Step 5. (Writer) Once in a while click the “Insert Flickr image” link and then “Search”. Find an appropriate photo you would like to include, then click Insert. Remember to “Publish” your post once in a while or the updates will not take effect.

Step 6. Rinse and repeat as required.

Step 8. Profit!!!

After the event:

Clean up the blog post by correcting formatting and spelling mistakes.
Add additional pictures if there are any that’s appropriate or particular interesting.
Categorize your Flickr photos into a set and make a link to it at the end of your blog post.

Tips:

Photographer
- Take lots of pictures, but not too many. You don’t want to miss something unexpected, but at the same time you don’t want to clog your bandwidth and build a queue of pictures from minutes ago.
- Use speed-priority mode in your camera. The combination of low-lighting and fast-moving actions results in blurred pictures very often. A shutter speed of 1/80 is optimal.
Writer
- Keep the summaries short and concise. You’re not a transcriber.
- Learn all the Live Writer shortcuts.

In the end, have fun and don’t make it a burden. Put in as much work as you think is necessary to make it enjoyable to read if you were someone not at the event and who’s DoSing your server. Look forward to doing more of these and reading more live blogs.
