KDE’s taskbar is actually more alike Vista’s than Seven’s.
The only difference between Vista’s and KDE’s is the size of the icons on the taskbar.

The difference between Seven’s and KDE’s taskbar is bigger, since in Seven all relative windows (as in relative to the same main application) gets hidden behind a single icon.

Also, in Seven all other “trayicons” are hidden by default. Kinda like in Vista and XP, but in a better way.
