OverClocking using Time Distortion. Making your CPU faster using a Time Machine

I wanted to get this Idea on by blog because I wanted to be the first who proposed such a method of overclocking.

According to general relativity, clocks run slower in locations with higher gravitational force.

I quote from wikipedia:

Gravitational time dilation is the effect of time passing at different rates in regions of different gravitational potential; the higher the local distortion of spacetime due to gravity, the slower time passes. Albert Einstein originally predicted this effect in his theory of relativity and it has since been confirmed by tests of general relativity.

This has been demonstrated by noting that atomic clocks at differing altitudes (and thus different gravitational potential) will eventually show different times. The effects detected in such experiments are extremely small, with differences being measured in nanoseconds.

Gravitational time dilation was first described by Albert Einstein in 1907 as a consequence of special relativity in accelerated frames of reference. In general relativity, it is considered to be difference in the passage of proper time at different positions as described by a metric tensor of spacetime. The existence of gravitational time dilation was first confirmed directly by the Pound-Rebka experiment.

This also means that if it is possible to create a "negative" gravity field, it would be possible to accelerate a clock in a particular location.

In this case we would not have time dilation but time CONSENTRATION.

The concept of "negative gravity" is not new, for example it is possible that negative gravity is generated by negative mass or dark matter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_energy

In other words we would be bending the fabric of space time itself in order to create a limited region of space, where in there time would be going faster than the surrounding area.

In such a location we would place a CPU of a computer running at say 4 ghz. However that speed relative to our time of reference could be changed according to the intensity of the negative gravitational field.

If it was strong enough, significant time concentration would occur and the cpu would APPEAR to be running faster to us. Thus basically it would be transformed into a faster CPU, since the only thing we would be counting was the calculations per second.

Theoretically the speed could be accelerated this way to enormous values. For example with a strong enough time concentration we would see the overclocking a thousand fold of the original CPU speed. And all this without needing to alter the technology of the CPU itself. Only the gravity field around it would change.

This would mean we could have a 4 Terahertz CPU. Of course this would also mean that we would have to feed the cpu 1000 times more energy since it would be consuming the energy given to it 1000 times faster.
