Puntadas panorámicas alrededor del noroeste pacífico
Este último fin de semana, mi amigo e I dirigieron en el estado de Washington central hacia “una aventura del roadtrip de la rotura del resorte”. Nuestra primera parada era Seattle, y entonces dirigimos sobre el paso de Snoqualmie en Washington central en donde paramos por la presa magnífica de Coulee antes de dirigir abajo al área de las Tri-Ciudades antes del título casero. Tomé con mí mi computadora portátil ROJA de Dell XPS M1530 (PRODUCTO) con mí por supuesto último (PRODUCTO) ROJO de funcionamiento de Windows Vista. También tomé mi Canon HV20 Camcorder de HD, y a Canon Digital XTi rebelde - que se certifica para Windows Vista.
En el camino, me centré sobre todo en fotografía. Muchos de los lugares que visitamos realmente no trabajaron bien para el vídeo y no me sentía que que está parado delante de la cámara fotográfica que juega el “guía turístico” estaría de cualquier valor verdadero. Confié pesadamente por supuesto en Windows Vista y galería viva de la foto de Windows para importar y para manejar mis fotos. Porque Canon Digital XTi rebelde se certifica para Windows Vista - era molestia libremente para importar a veces hasta 400 cuadros en galería viva de la foto de Windows. Y las fotos ellos mismos hicieron un promedio sobre 3MB cada uno mientras que tiraba en el posible más de alta calidad en los megapixels 10.1.
Al usar la galería viva de la foto de Windows, tengo la capacidad de crear a puntada panorámica de las fotos tomé - probablemente mi característica más preferida de la galería viva de la foto de Windows. En fotos que tiran - me cercioré de que tirara con el intento para crear puntadas. ¿Qué ese medio realmente? Tomaría un cuadro a partir un ángulo, después del siguiente, después del siguiente - que entonces permitirían para que la galería viva de la foto de Windows cree puntadas excelentes. Tan ahora tengo algunas puntadas panorámicas realmente frescas a la parte de los lugares que paramos en nuestro roadtrip. Paso a través de ellos en orden cronológica con un cierto comentario agregar contexto a cada foto.

And finally this is looking east towards the Cascade Mountain Range. You can see Lake Union on the lower left:
The next day - we headed over the Snoqualmie Pass toward Central Washington State and the Grand Coulee Dam. Up over the pass, it got quite snowy which was a nice (and interesting) change of scenery:
About 100 miles later we were here overlooking the Columbia River near Vantage, WA:
Back on the road heading to Grand Coulee Dam - we ended up stopping in the middle of nowhere for this shot:
In Central Washington, there is quite a bit of interesting geological features (part of why we headed out here). Here is a panoramic shot of Dry Falls. Dry Falls about 10,000-15,000 years ago was a huge water fall carved out by ice age flooding. You can read more about the history of Dry Falls here. But to be here and see it in person was absolutely amazing:
We finally reached Grand Coulee Dam. It's pretty big. They say it is the largest concrete structure in the United States. And you can see - there is quite a bit of concrete! We wanted to get a dam tour but it so happens that the very day we drove hundreds of miles to see the dam was the day they decided to do maintenance on the elevators for the tours. This is another one of my favorite shots from the trip:
