Project SOAK: winning Australian Imagine Cup finals تشريب المشروع : فوز الاسترالي الى نهائيات كأس تخيل

For the last couple of months I’ve been involved with a small group of students (David Burela, Edward Hooper, Dimaz Pramudya) in Melbourne to participate in Microsoft’s worldwide لمدى الشهرين الماضيين لقد شاركت مع مجموعة صغيرة من الطلاب (ديفيد burela ، وادوارد هوبر ، dimaz pramudya) في ملبورن للمشاركة في مايكروسوفت في جميع أنحاء العالم Imagine Cup تخيل كأس Software Design contest for students and our hard work has finally paid off today when we were judged out of four finalists as the Australian Imagine Cup winner to compete at the world finals in France early July. مسابقة تصميم البرمجيات للطلاب وعملنا الشاق وأخيرا فقد اثمرت اليوم عندما كنا الحكم من اصل اربعة النهائية ، كما يتصور الاستراليه للمنافسة على كأس الفائز في العالم في النهائيات في فرنسا مطلع تموز / يوليو الماضي.
I’ve only had a couple of hours sleep today so I’ll just share with you briefly what our project is about. لقد قمت فقط بضع ساعات من النوم حتى اليوم فقط انا اطلعكم بإيجاز ما لدينا حول هذا المشروع.
SOAK which stands for “Smart Operational Agriculture toolKit” is an integrated hardware and softwares platform that aims to help farmers make the most of the water (and other) resources on their land. تشريب ، التي تقف ل"الذكيه ادوات الزراعة التنفيذية" هو متكامل منهاج الاجهزه وبرامج تهدف الى مساعدة المزارعين على الاستفادة القصوى من المياه (وغيرها) الموارد على ارضه. It does this through an integration of a wide range of sensors which gathers data about the environment in real time, provide rich visual information to end-user about the status of the farm, and electronically controls various systems such as sprinklers. وهي تفعل ذلك عن طريق دمج مجموعة واسعة من أجهزة الاستشعار التي تجمع البيانات عن البيئة في الوقت الحقيقي ، وتوفير المعلومات البصريه الغنيه الى المستخدم النهائي عن حالة المزرعه ، والضوابط والنظم المختلفة الكترونيا مثل الرشاشات.
None of the individual components are exceptionally revolutionary, but it’s the integration that we deliver that separates SOAK from other traditional systems. ان أيا من العناصر الفرديه للثورة بصورة غير عادية ، ولكنها للتكامل اننا نقع ايصال الذي يفصل عن غيرها من النظم التقليديه.
For example by gathering online weather forecasts about the property, if the weather is predicted to rain in the next 48 hours and the current soil moisture is adequate till then, our system can conserve water usage by not watering before the rain falls. على سبيل المثال عن طريق جمع والارصاد الجوية على الانترنت عن الممتلكات ، اذا كان الطقس المتوقع لهطول الامطار في 48 ساعة المقبلة والحالية رطوبه التربة كافية حتى ذلك الحين ، للحفاظ على نظامنا يمكن استخدام المياه من خلال عدم الري قبل ان يسقط المطر. Also as a precaution, is the rainfall is inadequate, the watering system will resume operations to compensate for the difference. وكاجراء احتياطى ايضا ، هو سقوط الامطار غير كافية ، فان نظام الري وسوف تستأنف عمليات للتعويض عن الفرق.

For the main administrative interface we built a web application with a mashup of Windows Live Maps and Silverlight 2.0 overlaid on top. بالنسبة لاهم واجهة الاداريه التي بنيناها على شبكة الانترنت مع تطبيق المزج من ويندوز لايف والخرائط وsilverlight 2،0 غطى على القمة.
Of course I couldn’t miss a good opportunity to whip up some Vista Sidebar gadgets. وبطبيعة الحال انني لا يمكن أن تفوت فرصة جيدة للجلد حتى بعض الادوات فيستا الشريط الجانبي.
