Monday I borrowed a friends Gateway laptop they purchased this past summer in the US for school this fall. الاثنين انني اقترضت من اصدقاء بوابة حجريه انها اشترت هذا الصيف الماضي في الولايات المتحدة لالمدرسية فى هذا الخريف. I was interested in giving it a test to see how well it runs and what’s included. انا مهتم في اعطائها اختبارا جيدا لترى كيف انه يتعارض مع ما هو وشملت. The target audience is of course right, this is for a student in high school or someone who has basic needs, word processing, email, Internet and music. الجمهور المستهدف هو بطبيعة الحال حق ، وهذا هو لأحد الطلاب في المدرسة الثانويه او شخص الحاجات الاساسية ، ومعالجة النصوص ، البريد الالكتروني ، الانترنت والموسيقى. In fact the owner of this laptop seems to be in the middle of their School Based Assessment assignment for Information Technology which tests a student’s knowledge in three areas: Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database Management System. في الحقيقة صاحب هذا حجريه يبدو انه في منتصف مدرستهم التقييم المستند الى الاحاله لتكنولوجيا المعلومات التجارب التي طالب علم في ثلاثة مجالات : معالجة النصوص ، جداول البيانات ، ونظام ادارة قواعد البيانات. I am going to be honest; I was not totally impressed by this system. انا ذاهب الى ان نكون صادقين ؛ تماما انني لم اكن اعجب هذا النظام. Again, basic needs, but the first blunder is the performance, running Windows Vista Home Basic is excruciatingly groggy, the boot up did not take long, but reaching the desktop was a disappointing hurdle. مرة أخرى ، والاحتياجات الاساسية ، ولكن الخطأ الأول هو الاداء ، وتشغيل ويندوز فيستا المنزلية الاساسية هو مترنح بشكل لايطاق ، حتى الحذاء لم يطل ، ولكن الوصول الى سطح المكتب كان مخيبا للآمال حواجزها. Everyday Task المهمة اليوميه
I did a bunch of common task you would expect a system like this to do, launch Word, typed a few docs, played music, and checked email. أنا فعلت مجموعة من المهمة المشتركة تتوقعون نظام كهذا ان افعله ، لاطلاق لفظة ، طبع عدد قليل من دوس ، لعبته الموسيقى ، ودققت في البريد الالكتروني. The ML3109 does not give off a lot of heat and makes working with it from your lap a welcome. فان ml3109 لا يعطي الكثير من الحراره ويجعل العمل معها من حسابك في اللفه نرحب به. It’s a striking contrast to the Acer Ferrari 5000 I recently reviewed which is not lap friendly or battery friendly at all. It'sa ضرب خلافا لإيسر فيراري 5000 قمت في الآونة الاخيرة واستعرض التي لا حضن صديقه أو بطاريه الصديقه على الاطلاق. I was able to get approximately 3 hours out of the ML3109 without it feeling like 3 minutes, kudos to the energy efficient Intel Celeron M. I am still worried about performance in particular when it comes to running Vista, which ends up getting a bad name as groggy or not optimized and could ultimately result in the user dissatisfied, choosing to format the system and down grade to Windows XP. استطعت ان احصل على ما يقرب من 3 ساعات للخروج من ml3109 وبدون ذلك الشعور مثل 3 دقائق ، والشهره لكفاءه الطاقة إنتل سيليرون م انني ما زلت قلقة في الاداء ولا سيما عندما يتعلق الامر بالظهور فيستا ، والتي ينتهي بها المطاف في الحصول على سمعة سيئة مترنح على النحو الأمثل ام لا ويمكن في نهاية المطاف نتيجة للمستخدم مستاء ، لاختيار شكل النظام وتراجع الى الصف windows xp. It has happened and I can tell you from my own experiences, my sister-in-law purchased a Dell Inspiron this March and was disgusted by Vista so much that she immediately asked me to format the system and load XP. وقد حصل واستطيع ان اقول لكم من بلدي التجارب ، يا اختي - في القانون - اشترى ديل inspiron مارس من هذا العام وكان مقرف به فيستا التي تجعلها على الفور وقالت انها طلبت مني ان شكل النظام وتحميل اكس بي. Another thing that worries me is that over time, how will this system keep up? شيء آخر هو ان هموم لي ان مرور الوقت ، وكيف سيكون هذا النظام مجاراه؟ I don’t see any benefits from the said to be always running Defragment tool and the possibility of a future Service Pack 1 might not bring any changes. لا أرى أي فوائد من قال ليكون دائما تشغيل اداة ازالة التجزءه وامكانيه وجود الخدمة في المستقبل باقه 1 قد لا تحقق اي تغييرات.
Back to everyday task, the system comes with applications the user can appreciate, some, not so spectacular. عودة الى المهمة اليوميه ، ويأتي النظام مع تطبيقات بامكان المستخدم ان نقدر ، بعض ، بحيث لا المدهش. The popular Microsoft Office 2007 is included but is a trial and it’s the Home and Student Edition which lacks Office Access. الشعبية مايكروسوفت اوفيس 2007 هو شملت بل هو محاكمة وانها البيت والطالب الطبعه التي تفتقر الى مكتب الوصول. It’s great for turning your photos into fun home movies, I used it for my cousins wedding pictures and the almost cinematic results left me highly impressed. فهي كبيرة لتحويل صورك الى افلام المرح البيت ، وكنت انتظر ان لبلدي وابناء العم عرس صور والنتائج تقريبا السينماءيه تركت لي اعجبت جدا.
Display and Graphics وعرض الرسومات
The ML3109 features a 14.1 inch wide screen glossy display that makes it really easy on the eyes. فان ml3109 السمات أ 14،1 بوصة واسعة شاشة عرض صقيله ان يجعل من السهل حقا عن اعين. It’s very bright and detailed making it great for watching movies, reading text, viewing images and even enjoying screensavers surprisingly! ومن مشرقة جدا وتفصيلا مما يجعلها كبيرة لمشاهدة أفلام السينما ، وقراءة النص ، ومشاهدة الصور وحتى تتمتع شاشة عجب! I am typing this right now on my Dell c840 and it’s almost like night and day. انا طباعة هذا الحق الآن على بلدي ديل c840 وانها تقريبا مثل الليل والنهار. Its one of the nice aspects of ML3109 notebook, but of course its not appropriate in every environment, if you are in lots of light it becomes a bit unbearable, but I rarely find myself using my notebook in broad daylight so I don’t think there is too much to worry about. اعماله واحد من نيس جوانب ml3109 المفكره ، ولكن بطبيعة الحال لا دورته في كل مناسبة البيئة ، واذا كنت في القرعه للضوء يصبح نوعا ما لا يطاق ، ولكنني نادرا ما أجد نفسي بلدي استخدام المفكره في وضح النهار حتى لا اعتقد هناك الكثير جدا من ان نقلق. I am going to be honest, Vista Home Basic while satisfactory for most persons, is not enticing, it features all the common applications such as Windows Calendar, Photo Gallery, Sidebar, Media Player 11 and Movie Maker with out DVD burning support. انا ذاهب الى ان نكون صادقين ، فيستا المنزلية الاساسية بينما مرضية بالنسبة لمعظم الاشخاص ، ليست تحريضيه ، وهي السمات المشتركة لجميع تطبيقات ويندوز مثل التقويم ، معرض للصور ، والشريط الجانبي ، وسائل الاعلام اللاعب 11 واصل مع صانع الفيلم دي في دي حرق الدعم. Still, the ability to backup copies of your files and folders is a welcome feature and improvement to Windows without the need for third party software, plus it’s very straightforward and simple too. ومع ذلك ، فان القدرة على نسخا احتياطية من ملفاتك والمجلدات يحظى بالترحيب وتحسين الميزه الى ويندوز دون الحاجة الى برامج الطرف الثالث ، بالاضافة الى انها صريحة جدا وبسيطة جدا.

An awesome feature, it makes reinstalling your system and factory installed applications very easy. وهو سمة رهيبه ، فهو يجعل جهازك واعادة تركيب مصنع تركيب التطبيقات سهلة للغاية. Conclusion خاتمة
The Gateway ML3901 although bare and basic in some areas is acceptable and appropriate for many users with ‘basic’ needs. البوابه ml3901 رغم أن باري والأساسية في بعض المناطق مقبولة ومناسبة لكثير من المستخدمين مع 'الاساسية' للاحتياجات. Although, I find the amount of RAM highly unacceptable. ورغم ، اجد ان مبلغ رام عالية غير مقبولة.
