Windows CardSpace is client software that enables users to authenticate to a website or web service using information cards for added security. cardspace窗口，是客戶端軟件，使用戶認證到一個網站或web service的用卡信息，為確保安全。 Information cards contain identity meta data and can be given to a user by an identity provider such as a bank, employer or government or created by the user themselves.信息卡身份meta數據，可以給用戶一個身份提供商，如銀行，雇主，政府首腦或由用戶自己。
