Actually there are several methods to backup Windows registry. En realidad hay varios métodos de copia de seguridad del Registro de Windows. Some of them, I’m discussing in this article. Algunos de ellos, estoy discutiendo en este artículo.
Method 1: Using System Restore Método 1: Uso de Restaurar sistema
When we create a system restore point in Windows XP, it backs up the following items: Cuando creamos un punto de restauración del sistema en Windows XP, es una copia de seguridad de los siguientes temas:

- So if you want to backup the registry, creating a restore point is the safest way to do so. If you want to backup individual registry keys, go to Start –> Run –> regedit Si desea una copia de seguridad de claves de registro individual, vaya a Inicio -> Ejecutar -> regedit
This will open the registry editor. Esto abrirá el Editor del Registro. Go to the registry you want to backup, right click it and select Export. Ir al registro que desea copia de seguridad, haga clic derecho y seleccione Exportar. 
Method 3: Backing up the whole registry Método 3: Copia de seguridad de todo el Registro
To backup the whole registry, go to Start –> Run –> regedit Para el conjunto de copia de seguridad del Registro, vaya a Inicio -> Ejecutar -> regedit
This will open the registry editor. Esto abrirá el Editor del Registro. Go to File –> Export. Ir a Archivo -> Exportar. This will open the save registry dialog. Se abrirá el cuadro de diálogo Guardar registro. After the name, select “All” from Export Range and save the registry. Method 4: Using NTBackup utility Método 4: Uso de utilidad NTBackup
Using the Windows backup utility, we can save the system state including the registry and all the files and folders we wish to backup. Method 5: Using command line Método 5: Uso de línea de comandos

Keyname ROOTKEY\SubKey (local machine only) KeyName RootKey \ subclave (equipo local solamente)

SubKey The full name of a registry key under the selected ROOTKEY Subclave El nombre completo de una clave del Registro seleccionada en el marco del RootKey
FileName The name of the disk file to export Nombre de fichero El nombre del archivo de disco a la exportación
Examples: Ejemplos:
REG EXPORT HKLM\Software\MyCo\MyApp AppBkUp.reg REG exportación HKLM \ Software \ MyCo \ MiAplic AppBkUp.reg
Exports all subkeys and values of the key MyApp to the file AppBkUp.reg Exportaciones todas las subclaves y los valores de la clave MiAplic al expediente AppBkUp.reg
Method 6: Using ERUNT automatic backup Método 6: Uso de copia de seguridad automática ERUNT
ERUNT is a backup utility which can automatically backup the registry. ERUNT es una utilidad de copia de seguridad que pueden realizar automáticamente copias de seguridad del Registro. It can be downloaded from here: Se puede descargar desde aquí:
