Ubuntu 8.10: So good, it’s…boring? Ubuntu 8.10: tutto bene, è noioso ...?

I hope this statement doesn’t come back to bite me in the (rear)end, but at this point I think this is the best Ubuntu release to date! Which definitely raises a valid point - there have been lots of recent changes to the Linux kernel, but I just can’t see any of these being changes for the worse.
