Uninstall Windows Vista SP2 Beta


Now if you have Downloaded and installed Windows Vista Service Pack 2(SP2) Beta and now want to uninstall it you can just follow the steps below.

1.Click the Start menu and choose Control Panel.

2.Choose Uninstall a Program from the Programs section of the Control Panel
3.On the left, choose View Installed Updates.

4.In the list of updates, look for Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB948465) and select it.

5.Choose Uninstall.

6.The uninstall will take some time. Expect at least 10 minutes for the first segment.

7.You’ll be asked to restart the machine,SP2 Beta is now uninstalled!

I find (KB948465) but uninstall choice not appear ,so i cant unintall
vista sp2 beta v 113.Please help me
cause i want to try sp2 rc1.

To see updates you need to do step 4:

4.On the left, choose View Installed Updates.

i found KB948465, Chose uninstall, it started doing it’s stuff and after about 20 mins reported that the uninstall failed! What now

Great advice everyone….but theres a problem. as stated in several other posts. I also cannot find the KB948465 to uninstall. And yes i have selected to show microsoft updates. Any one have any other ideas?

hey i couldnt find it either then i clicked turn windows fetures on or off, let that window load then closed it. then i refreshed the control panel and it was there, labeled “service pack for windows vista” uninstall is going right now.
