Zune contro il programma del mondo del iPod

Pensereste che un'azienda provasse a vendere l'altretanto dei relativi prodotti come possibile per il profitto massimo. Ma no, non Microsoft. Non con lo Zune. Non solo Microsoft non li venderà Zunes in Australia, ma realmente scoraggi chiunque dall'acquisto dell'uno attraverso un reseller nel caso voi realmente quello desiderato. Quel genere di entusiasmo è inaccettabile. Allo stesso tempo, i iPods stanno vendendo più meglio dei hotcakes, possedenti fino a percentuale del mercato di 80% in Australia. Lo stesso probabilmente si applica a gran parte del mondo, voi sa, in paesi fuori degli Stati Uniti. Yeah, ci è una manciata di quelle.

Credilo oppure no, L'Australia non ha avuta un deposito di musica dei iTunes fino ai 2005 - 4 anni tardi dopo l'introduzione del iPod. Il fatto è ha venduto i iPods ed ha fatto i soldi senza un deposito di musica. Apple fatto soltanto più soldi con il deposito dei iTunes.

Potreste dire bene, “la musica potrebbe essere abbastanza importante in un giocatore di musica„, ma lo Zune non è giusto un giocatore di musica. La musica è soltanto una dei sei caratteristiche dello Zune. L'altri che sono video, ripartirsi, immagini, radio e podcasts. Quale hanno un'abbondanza del soddisfare questa o in tutto il paese sviluppato.

Anche la musica è se pensate a questo proposito - il pari--pari abbondante, MP3s DRM-libero e libera dagli indie-artisti.

Consumers are not hopeless without some sort of integrated music store. Sure, a music store will make the integrated experience much richer, and probably sell more devices, but I believe the device on its own is worth buying. That’s how they sold MP3 players before the iPod and if I recall correctly, people still bought them.

I should point out though the Zune is not impossible to get in Australia. There’s a handful of them sold new on eBay, through a few online retailers and as well as the trusty Microsoft Australia employee. But that’s not to say there’s no risk. Even though Microsoft has said they’ll refund any defective devices in Australia, there’s no guarantee of warranty or support when required.

I’ve even gone as far as asking Zune’s public relations to buy a review unit. They didn’t even bother to respond. Frankly, I’m sick of waiting. My next alternative is an iPod Touch and I’m sure Apple will be glad to profit from me.
