You can just do a system restore and it will un-install this software. The real issue is the rest of the spyware that placed virus heat on your system in the first place.

I have seen a lot of spyware but was surprised the control virusheat had over my boyfriend’s computer. I spent three hours yesterday just trying to get to a website to find the instructions on removal of this thing and this darn site kept freezing up the computer. Still working on this problem. What a mess this is!! I hope to follow the suggestions on here later on to get rid of the rest of it.

Ran in to this one on a new client we were taking over. Doesnt appear to do anything harmful but it is definitely bogus software. Makes you want to hunt these guys down and bring them to justice.

Instructions here seemed to take care of it all. One suggestion to the writers, when listing files/regkeys to delete it would be easier to follow if the lists were in alphabetical order as much as is possible.

The website VirusHeat exists like it’s no big deal and like it isn’t a virus. Why hasn’t it been shut down?

Simply delete the Virus heat folder from C:\program Files.
Then Remove it from Add or Remove Programs.
The delete the registery key from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Virus Heat.
Restart the computer.
Remember to take a bakup of your registry before doing changes to your registery.

I downloaded windows one care. It eliinated virus heat 4.3 on it’s own while I slept. My Norton was so lousy that it not only let it in it couldn’t detect it. Goodbye Norton Hello one care subscription
