Security comes in several layers I’m not talking about OSI. Sicurezza viene in diversi strati non sto parlando di OSI.

3. Hostbased Intrusion Protection (HIPS) 3. Hostbased Protezione da intrusioni (HIPS)

1. The first one is pretty simple either you have it or you don’t. La prima è molto semplice, o si hanno o non.
My router I got with my broadband comes with NAT but no Firewall. Ho ottenuto il mio router a banda larga con i miei viene con NAT, ma non Firewall.
NAT = Network Address Translation. = NAT Network Address Translation.
NAT offers a nice first layer of defense for hackers, because they need to figure out what the internal network is. NAT offre un bel primo strato di difesa per gli hacker, perché bisogna capire che cosa è la rete interna.

The internal network can be easy to figure out on a specially crafted website, there are several websites that show your internal IP address on your network. La rete interna può essere facile da capire su un sito web appositamente creato, ci sono molti siti web che mostrano il tuo indirizzo IP interno della rete.
