Aujourd'hui nous faisons disponible le candidat de dégagement (RC) de Windows Vista SP1 par l'intermédiaire de Microsoft se relient, et demain les abonnés à TechNet et à MDSN auront accès à ces peu de RC aussi. En outre, le RC sera disponible à la semaine suivante publique par l'intermédiaire du centre du téléchargement de Microsoft.

Microsoft is hard at effort beating away at the first service pack for Windows Vista.

But at the equal time the Redmond company is test driving the refresh in order to estimate the evolution of development milestone releases in respect to the quality standard that will recommend SP1 for the final open. With just 88 million copies of Vista shipped to channel partners global, White felt the need to clarify SP1. "What is Windows Vista SP1? Windows Vista SP1 is an update to Windows Vista that addresses feedback from our clientele. In addition to formerly released updates, SP1 will contain changes inattentive on addressing specific reliability and performance issues, sustaining new types of hardware, and adding support for numerous emerging standards. SP1 also addresses some management, deployment and support challenges", he stated.

Microsoft (MSFT: $33.76 -0.50%) has just released another version of its most-eagerly anticipated Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista, labeled as Release Candidate 1; along with another build of Windows Server 2008: the November CTP. Both releases are available to official testers from Microsoft Connect.

This is the third SP1 release made “available” to the public, starting with the leaked build back in August, followed closely by the first official release of Windows Vista SP1 beta in September.

Vista SP1 RC1 (build tag: 6001-17042-071107-1618) has been available as both an slip-streamed ISO image and a standalone upgrade utility. The slip-streamed ISO image is available in either English or Japanese, while the upgrade utility supports the five main Windows Vista localizations (Arabic, English, French, German, and Japanese).

The Windows Server 2008 November CTP (build tag: 6001-17042-071107-1618) is only available as an ISO in English in multiple flavors (Web Server & Standard Edition) for multiple platforms (x86, x64, and IA64).
