Para apenas sob um ano agora, Microsoft tem produzido uma série destes filmes animated, “Limas genuínas do fato“, visado demonstrar como o software forjado pode ter efeitos devastating na vida daqueles que os compram.

O mais atrasado destes filmes do comic-estilo é chamado “descida perigosa”. Caracteriza a história de um piloto que seja exercido pressão sobre por um amigo para comprar algum software de Microsoft das lojas da rua em Shanghai - uma história mais de nós pode relacionar-se a. Unknowingly, põe-se himself, seus amigos e mesmo sua união sobre a linha. Este thriller do suspense po-lo-á sobre a borda de seu assento até o segundo muito último. M Rated para maduro.

Havia uns muitos da imprensa última semana sobre' sessão “de Bill Gates uma aproximação nova ao capitalismo no século XXI” no Forum econômico 2008 do mundo em Davos, Switzerland mas poucos se nenhuns de que tinha ligado ao vídeo de YouTube da sessão inteira. I’ve been more than fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to attend so many fun events, meet so many great people and play with the latest cool gadgets as a result of this blog, I really owe it to everybody that’s supported me. This month Google AdSense has served me particularly well thanks to an appearance by a special somebody at CES which drew enough traffic for me to generate a nice chunk of above-average advertising revenue.

Some of you might have heard of the term microfinancing, which is basically providing financial services to the very poor that most banks would otherwise neglect. One of the most exciting aspect of microfinancing is microloans or microcredit. Think of loans but instead of thousands of dollars, think hundreds. That may not seem practical in developed nations, but are great sums of money elsewhere.

Two weeks ago, Joe Wilcox of Microsoft Watch insisted “Microsoft, you need to get some good leaks out there to generate buzz. Please, let’s see more of this. … If (Shipping) Seven provides some juicy details, people will subscribe to his or her feed, and enthusiast sites will report or blog every little feature.”

Today, an obviously different Joe demands radio silence over Windows 7 proclaiming “buzz about the next Windows version distracts potential Vista adopters.”

Unfortunately this appears to be a dilemma only affecting Microsoft. In contrast, Apple who announced OSX Leopard (10.5) in June of 2005, two years before its eventual release had no problems selling Tiger (10.4) nor Tiger-based Macs through almost two full years.

A year after Leopard’s announcement in 2006, Apple sold 1.61 million Macs with Tiger, 30% growth over the year. When Leopard eventually was released in 2007, Apple sold a record 2.16 million Macs with Leopard, 34% growth over the year. Buzz about the next OSX version, even though Leopard didn’t change all that much from 2005 to 2007, surely didn’t distract any Apple adopters.

Update: In the spirit of the moment, a Microsoft insider by the name of “Brooks” have also shared this short video of an even newer version of Windows, never before seen by the public. It’s authenticity is hard to disprove.

Slightly few hours before the official launch, Microsoft’s switched on the official Windows Vista Ultimate (PRODUCT) RED website and Dell (PRODUCT) RED PC website. Have a look through to see some of the special extras included in Vista Ultimate (RED) as well as check out the Dell (RED) PCs. Bear in mind all this comes at no extra cost to the consumer, but it can make a life-changing difference for someone else in the world.
