La chose que j'aime mieux au sujet de Firefox est qu'au moment même où vous pensez vous savez que tout là doit savoir le navigateur, quelque chose de nouveau vient le long et vous étonne.

J'ai découvert cinq nouveaux bouts de Firefox aujourd'hui. Peut-être ce sont vieux chapeau et vous les savez déjà. Ou peut-être comme moi, vous n'avez eu aucune idée que ceux-ci pourraient être faits. (plus…)

Jamais été sur le PC où l'Internet Explorer a été bloqué ? Une solution serait à l'utilisation a version portative de Firefox sur une commande d'USB, ou toi peut accéder à un navigateur caché dans le programme d'aide de HTML de Microsoft si les médias démontables n'est pas une option. Ceci a été examiné sur Windows XP SP2 avec l'Internet Explorer 6 et l'Internet Explorer 7.

Internet Explorer 7 est actuellement le navigateur le plus utilisé dans le monde entier, selon des statistiques rendues disponibles par Net Applications. Libéré sur il y a une année pour Windows XP SP2 et serveur 2003 de Windows, le navigateur s'est développé à décembre 2007 à un part de marché de 40.61%. Avec la fin de 2007 vient également détrôner de l'Internet Explorer 6, de la position dominante sur le marché de navigateur. IE6 explique actuellement 35.18%, et est le deuxième navigateur utilisé dans le monde, suivi Firefox 2.0 dans le troisième endroit avec 15.80%.

Opera widgets are web applications that run directly on your desktop without displaying the browser controls because Opera web browser can install and show them automatically.
They can be constructed using regular client side programming languages such as JavaScript and Flash. As a consequence, minimal knowledge regarding common used web-related programming languages are necessary if you want to create a new widget or to modify an existing one.

The main parts of an Opera widget are a file named index.html and a config.xml file. The index.html file can control external files, such as Flash animations or external Javascripts or could contain a Javascript in it, for example. Practically a widget could be assimilated to a regular client side web application which performs certain actions on a Windows or Linux desktop, as if it was called from a web browser. (more…)

A new version of Firefox is available for download. On October 19, Mozilla made available an update to its open source browser, taking the version build from 2.0.0.7 to 2.0.0.8. The version numbers are not a clear indication of the evolution between the two Firefox variants. According to Mozilla, over 200 issues impacting the Firefox browser were addressed by the 2.0.0.8 update. However, at the same time, the extent of the modifications introduced by Firefox 2.0.0.8 also affected the functionality of the browser regressing a handful of aspects.

On October 22, Mozilla promised to update the Firefox 2.0.0.8 update in order to take care of the problems generated by the refresh. Web-mail users and bloggers know too well the folly of inputting text into a browser window. It’s very easy to close out a session while composing a message, lose everything, and be left scrambling to retype the e-mail or post. Firefox offers a fix. By tweaking the agile browser’s settings, previous sessions are easily restored, complete with form entries.
