Tdes mises à jour de non-sécurité de Windows Vista de hree, celle avaient été à l'origine libérées comme hotfixes, et alors libéré en tant que véritables mises à jour pour le téléchargement, sera finalement poussé par la mise à jour de Windows. Comme mentionné par Windows Vista Blog, ces mises à jour deviendront par la suite une partie du SP1 de Vista, mais si vous ne voulez pas attendre les avantages qu'ils offrent, la mise à jour sera poussée à toi ce mardi, le 13ème.

Voici ce qui viendra par la mise à jour de Windows :

• Une mise à jour sur la compatibilité, la fiabilité et la stabilité de système: prolonge la vie de batterie pour les dispositifs mobiles, améliore la stabilité des services de réseau sans fil, et raccourcit le temps de rétablissement après des expériences de Windows Vista par période de l'inactivité, entre d'autres difficultés.
• Une mise à jour aux composants de noyau d'USB: affecte principalement des systèmes retournant du sommeil ou de la hibernation, fixant des problèmes causant à 1-2% de tous des accidents rapportés.
• Une mise à jour au centre de médias de Windows: entre autres, affecte des questions d'interaction se produisant entre le PC central et le Microsoft Xbox 360 de médias quand Xbox 360 est employé pendant que les médias centrent l'unité d'extension.

Microsoft offre à des utilisateurs de Windows Vista les moyens de prendre la compatibilité, le sérieux et la stabilité de Windows Vista vers le haut d'une entaille en avant du dégagement du premier paquet de service pour le logiciel d'exploitation. In this context, the Redmond company has been hammering away at Vista, since the client hot the shelves in January 2007 with constant refreshes served through the Windows Update infrastructure. Microsoft released a number of updates for Vista on October 2nd. One of them was quite vague in it’s description: “An update is available that improves the compatibility, reliability, and stability of Windows Vista“. Of course the other updates had these same goals in mind, but they had a number of fixes related to the same feature. This one is a random gathering of fixes.

So what can you expect from this update?

• It extends the battery life for mobile devices.
• It improves the stability of portable computers and of desktop computers that use an uninterruptable power supply (UPS).
• It improves the reliability of Windows Vista when you open the menu of a startup application.
• It improves the stability of Internet Explorer when you open a Web page.
• It improves the stability of wireless network services.
• It shortens the startup time of Windows Vista by using a better timing structure.
• It shortens the recovery time after Windows Vista experiences a period of inactivity.
• It shortens the recovery time when you try to exit the Photos screen saver.
• It improves the stability of Windows PowerShell.

This update also resolves the following issues in Windows Vista:

• A compatibility issue that affects some third-party antivirus software applications.
• A reliability issue that occurs when a Windows Vista-based computer uses certain network driver configurations.
