Firefox avec sa configuration de défaut n'intègre pas bien avec le kde. Maintenant vous verrez comment installer le firefox comme client de défaut dans les deux cas suivants

1 ) Cliquer sur un lien d'email dans une page Web devrait créer un nouvel email avec le kmail.

Commencez le firefox et dactylographiez le suivant dans la barre d'URL : au sujet de : config

Une grande table avec des options de configuration apparaîtra dans la fenêtre de navigateur principale.
Recherchez l'article network.protocol-handler.external.mailto et assurez-vous que sa valeur est placée pour rectifier. La valeur est le juste la plupart de morceau de texte dans la rangée pour cet article. Tout en en utilisant l'étiquette de recherche de FireFox (pour tout Search Engine) après que vous dactylographiiez la question et le coup écrivent le résultat de recherche s'ouvrent dans la même page. Parfois c'est un ennui quand vous chaque fois devez ouvrir une nouvelle étiquette avant de faire la recherche. Voici une solution à ce problème.

Provisoire:
Après que vous entriez la question et barre de la recherche de FireFox au lieu de frapper écrivent le coup alt+enter. Et vous obtenez le résultat de recherche dans nouvelle tableau.

1. In FireFox address bar (where you type the website address) type about:config and hit enter.
2. In filter box just below the address type in network.
3. Then scroll down half way untill you see network.http.pipeling. Click on the right column to change the value to True.
4. Now below this row change the value of network.http.pipeling.maxrequests to 10.
5. Then click ok and restart FireFox.

Mozilla applications render web pages incrementally - they display what’s been received of a page before the entire page has been downloaded. Since the start of a web page normally doesn’t have much useful information to display, Mozilla applications will wait a short interval before first rendering a page: by default, Firefox doesn’t try to render a web page for 250 milliseconds while it’s waiting for data.

By default, the about:config preference UI automatically detects localized preferences and displays the localized setting. But if you are a hacker working on customizing the default settings, this can be very confusing.
