Firefox con la relativa configurazione di difetto non integra bene con kde. Ora vedrete come installare il firefox come cliente di difetto nei seguenti due casi

1 ) Scattandosi su un collegamento del email in un Web page dovrebbe generare un nuovo email con kmail.

Inizi il firefox e scriva quanto segue a macchina nella barra del URL: circa: config

Una tabella grande con le opzioni di configurazione comparirà nella finestra di browser principale.
Cerchi l'articolo network.protocol-handler.external.mailto e che assicuri che il relativo valore è regolato per allineare. Il valore è la destra la maggior parte della parte di testo nella fila per quell'articolo. Mentre usando la linguetta di ricerca di FireFox (per qualsiasi Search Engine) dopo che scriviate la domanda ed il colpo entrano nel risultato di ricerca si aprono nella stessa pagina. A volte questo è un fastidio quando sempre dovete aprire una nuova linguetta prima di fare la ricerca. Qui è una soluzione a questo problema.

Provvisorio:
Dopo che entriate barra la domanda e di ricerca di FireFox invece di colpire entrano nel colpo alt+enter. Ed ottenete il risultato di ricerca in nuova tabella.

1. In FireFox address bar (where you type the website address) type about:config and hit enter.
2. In filter box just below the address type in network.
3. Then scroll down half way untill you see network.http.pipeling. Click on the right column to change the value to True.
4. Now below this row change the value of network.http.pipeling.maxrequests to 10.
5. Then click ok and restart FireFox.

Mozilla applications render web pages incrementally - they display what’s been received of a page before the entire page has been downloaded. Since the start of a web page normally doesn’t have much useful information to display, Mozilla applications will wait a short interval before first rendering a page: by default, Firefox doesn’t try to render a web page for 250 milliseconds while it’s waiting for data.
