vino is server VNC want GNOME.VNC een protocol is dat verre vertoning van de Desktop van een gebruiker toestaat. Dit pakket verstrekt een server VNC die met GNOME integreert, toestaand u om uw lopende Desktop uit te voeren aan een andere computer voor verre gebruik of diagnose.

Door gebrek zal ubuntu met vino-server komen zodat is het zeer gemakkelijk vormen om verre Desktop toe te laten delend in uw ubuntumachine. Als u ubuntu tot machine wilt ver toegang hebben hebt u binnen aan login nodig aan uw ubuntusysteem.

Belangrijke nota: -

De verre Desktop zal slechts werken als er een GNOME login zitting is. Verlaten van uw computer met een onbeheerde GNOME login zitting is niet veilig en geadviseerd niet.

I caught this via Steve Clayton (who caught it via Jeff Sandquist showing off his home) - Stardock has a really neat application called LogonStudio that allows you to change the background of your logon screen in Windows Vista. I absolutely love the space background.

LogonStudio is available as a free download and also allows you to create your own backgrounds as well as download logon backgrounds via Stardock’s WinCustomize Gallery too.
