Excel ist zurück mit einem Vengeance
Microsoft hat bestätigt, daß die Bürosuite noch einmal unter Feuer am Anfang 2008 ist. Jedoch scheint es, daß Angriffe nur den Excelbestandteil in einer Vielzahl der Büroversionen zielen. Begleitend mit dem Aufdecken, daß ein kritisches, Null-Tagverwundbarkeit aktiv im wilden ausgenutzt wird, versah die Redmond Firma Versicherung, daß Benutzer der neuesten Versionen des Büro-Systems nicht an irgendeiner Gefahr vom Angriff sind. Büro-Excel 2007, Excel 2008 für Mac, Service-Satz 3 des Büro-Excel-2003 sowie Benutzer, die Microsoft Office lokalisiertes Umwandlung Klima (MOICE) angebracht haben werden nicht durch die Verwundbarkeit beeinflußt.
Ein Mitglied der Microsoft Sicherheit Wartemitte deckte das auf: „ein gerichteter Angriff, der eine Verwundbarkeit im Microsoft Office-Excel ausnutzt. Unsere Untersuchung hat dem dieses gezeigt Verwundbarkeit beeinflußt Service-Satz 2 des Microsoft Office-Excel-2003, Microsoft Office-Excel-Projektor 2003, Microsoft Office-Excel 2002, Microsoft Office-Excel 2000 und Microsoft Excel 2004 für Mac. Service-Satz 3 des Microsoft Office-Excel-2003, Microsoft Office-Excel 2007 und Microsoft Excel 2008 für Mac werden nicht beeinflußt, da sie enthalten nicht den verletzbaren Code.“ (mehr…)

Setzen der neuen Tasten auf toolbars in MS Büro
Vor wann, das, ich schrieb ein Artikel das schlug das vor, anstatt ist der Druck direkt von den Netzdatenbanksuchroutinen, wie Internet Explorer, von ihm besser, die Informationen zu kopieren, die Sie in ein Textverarbeitungsgerät wünschen und sie von dort drucken. Dadurch, daß Artikel ich den Gebrauch der speziellen `Paste' im Wort erwähnte, das Ihnen ermöglicht, Formatierung von den Informationen zu entfernen, die Sie kleben. In diesem Artikel erkläre ich, wie man eine Taste für spezielle `Paste' die auf das toolbar im Wort setzt. Diese Technik kann auch verwendet werden, um irgendwelche der anderen vorhandenen Tasten auf das toolbar hinzuzufügen.
Erschließen Sie Wort und Rechtklicken auf einem der toolbars, die an der Oberseite des Schirmes unterhalb des Menüs sind und etwas ähnliches schauen:

Keyboard shortcut of the week: search and find
If you wish to bring up Windows’ file search minimise all your windows and press F3. You can also search within a certain folder too: open that folder up in Windows Explorer (the name for the program that opens when you double click on ‘My Documents’, ‘My Computer’, etc) and - you guessed it - press F3.
Pressing F3 opens search dialogs in many other programs as well: in Internet Explorer it opens (and closes) the vertical search bar; in MS Outlook it opens up the ‘Advanced Find’ dialog. Try pressing F3 when using applications that have some sort of search facility.
In a similar vein, you can open up the find facility in many applications by holding down the Control (’Ctrl’) key and pressing F. To explain the difference between search and find, consider that you will search for a web page and when you have opened it you can find text within it. In MS Word Ctrl + F opens the ‘Find and Replace’ dialog. As with F3, try it out in any program that has a find facility.
