I saved $20 with a Shoebuy Coupon!

shoebuy couponsI needed some new sneakers for summer but my budget has been a little tight lately so I was hoping to find a deal online. All the people I asked kept suggesting Shoebuy since they have a huge selection and often have promo codes and coupons for $10, $20, $25 off AND free shipping.

It took a while to find the best deal, but once I found this guy’s Shoebuy Coupon site it was really easy - he’s organized all the available deals. If you are in need of shoes I suggest checking his site out. My sneakers were $80, but I got $20 off so I only paid $60! That’s about $68 cheaper than my local shoe store!!

I’m going to need another pair for running soon as well so if you know someplace I can score an even better deal, please let me know. :)

Computers to Dive For

Computers were never known to be that compatible with water. In fact, one drop of water into any of the chips or motherboard can cause a malfunction if not a major shutdown. But thanks to modern inventors and technology, diving enthusiasts can now do computing while under water. And all of this was made possible by Uemis through its OLED Dive Computer.

The OLED Dive Computer is not what you may call the traditional PC or notebook to under water. It is actually in the mold of a watch (something taken out of the modern designs of James Bond or Mission Impossible perhaps). This colored scuba assistant is certainly a good addition to any diver who may want to do some computing under water.

The Lithium Polymer battery provides about 10 hours of use between charges. Not only can you charge by connecting to your laptop, but an integrated solar panel allows you to charge the unit while sitting on the boat deck between dives!

So if you want to show off or put the OLED Dive Computer to good use, get one and bring it along the next time you go diving. It is certain to be something you may find useful under water.

Enjoy Other Games using PC Emulators

The evolution of technology never ceases to amaze us. For one, not all people have to spend that much to enjoy games that we only get to see in game consoles such as the Playstation or Xbox. But thank it all to game developers who, if they haven’t made a PC version, have come up with game emulators to allow gamers enjoy them from their own PC.

If you will notice, there are no specified hardware requirements. But regardless, PC users know for a fact that if they want to play these games, then they need higher specs as far as video cards are concerned. Did you think that with these emulators you would not have to consider such options as well?

We can turn from games dating back to Street Fighter and Super Mario Brothers. Today we even see the WWE series that can be played on the PC. Classic or not, it just remains that these games are entertainment outlets that make any avid gamer enjoy them at any time that they want to. So if you think you have to buy these pricey game consoles, check out the available emulators. They are a lot cheaper and economical to use.

Many geeks may have tried this already and of course nothing compares to the real thing. But rather than spend hundred of dollars for a gaming console, why not make do with one that can be played on your computer. You can choose to use either your keyboard or mouse. Perhaps even a joystick if you love the game so much. Nothing beats the real thing but at least you can play it without spending additional expenses.

A Little Fun with Rundll32.exe

Note: this content originally from http://mygreenpaste.blogspot.com. If you are reading it from some other site, please take the time to visit My Green Paste, Inc. Thank you.

Was having a little fun with rundll32.exe (command-lines will probably be a little messed up due to the length - they should be entered as one complete command). I first tried the commands on XP, but they produce similar results on Vista.
