Bij Het Forum 2007 van de invloed in Australië, stelde de technische manager Michael Apthorpe van AMD Australië aanstaande voor „Fusiede“ architectuur voor een hybride ontwerp CPU/GPU op één enkel spaanderontwerp zal (op het tijdstip van versie) gelijkaardige grafiekprestaties en mogelijkheden aan die kaarten van de medio-aan-hoog-waaiergrafiek vandaag aanbieden.

Nog gemoeten tussen eind 2008 en begin 2009, aanvankelijk Fusie verschepen zal bij de geïntegreerdes waarderuimte voor worden gericht UMA- gebaseerde notitieboekjesystemen. Omdat de geïntegreerdee markt zeer prijsgevoelig is, zal het prijspunt vrij laag zijn, maar misschien nog marginaal hoger dan huidige geïntegreerdek alternatieven. In ruil daarvoor, zullen de notitieboekjegebruikers aanzienlijk van betere grafiekmogelijkheden en prestaties voor het kostenverschil genieten.

De kwestie van motherboards vermogen werd gesteld door het publiek waaraan Michael verklaarde AMD onderzoekt achteruit momenteel mogelijke verenigbaarheid maar voorstelde het het waarschijnlijkst nieuwe motherboard zal vereisen.

Sinsdien eBay gekochte Skype terug in 2005, is er wilde speculatie geweest op hoe eBay Skype in zijn diensten zal integreren. Vandaag zei het hoofd van eBay Australië van gemeenschap en PR Daniel Feiler er geen verdere plannen zijn om Skype in eBay veilingen of communicatiediensten te integreren voorbij wat reeds geschikt aan is omvat knopen Skype in veilingslijsten.

Tijdens de „online levend“ zitting bij Het Forum van de invloed 2007 in Australië, Sarah Stokely van lifehacker stelde de vraag als en hoe eBay plannen om de integratie Skype in eBay uit te breiden. Een andere attendee nam ook nota hoe eBay zelfs geen Skype om gebruikt te verstrekken de klantenondersteuningsdiensten.

Het klinkt als eBay heeft werkelijk geen plan voor Skype, of niet minstens in Australië. Nochtans nam van nota Daniel er bijzondere regionale eBay markten zijn waar Skype een veel hoger tarief van goedkeuring heeft.

Één journalist had ook een persoonlijke kwestie met PayPal die hij vond geschikt om met iedereen in het forum was te delen.

At the secret gathering of journalists, freelance writers, vendors and a few bloggers they call Influence Forum 2007 hosted by Media Connect, the CEO of ICANN Paul Twomey, who happens to be Australian, gave a deep insight into what he and his organization thinks of the internet’s current trends and issues over lunch.

At least trying to talk when he could between the occasional down-pour.

ICANN for those who don’t know is not just a personal motivation acronym, in fact it is the non-profit organization which oversees the assigning of internet domain names and IP addresses. However Paul reitterated many times that in fact they do not control the internet. No one controls the internet.

Because I’m not skilled enough to eat and write at the same time, I only took some rough notes of what he said.
