Read Outlook Express E-Mail…Without Outlook Express

View Microsoft Outlook Express 4,5 and 6 e-mail without having access to Outlook Express.

Got a need to view Microsoft Outlook Express 4, 5, or 6 e-mail without having access to Outlook Express? Want to view Windows Vista Mail and Windows Live mail message databases? You'll want MiTeC Mail Viewer. This free program lets you view those message stores, as well as message stores in any standalone .EML files, used by some e-mail programs.

Simply run MiTeC Mail Viewer, point it at the location of the file, and then select the folder you want to view. You'll then be able to browse through the e-mail, and save individual files as well as attachments. It's also nice that you can view not just the e-mail itself, but also the source code as well. This can come in handy for tracing suspicious e-mail or checking for phishing scams.

The program does have some problems, though. It didn't properly read HTML messages; I could decipher the content, but it didn't look like the original message. Aside from that, MiTeC Mail Viewer is free and simple, so worth a try if you need to view Outlook Express e-mail without having access to Outlook Express.

Unable to receive or send e-mail

The most and irritating Problem face in Microsoft Outlook is when you not able to receive and send the Email.

The main cause of this issues is below possibility.
1. Internet or Network connection missing
2. Issue with Internet or Network e-mail server
3. E-mail program incorrectly configured
4. Security issues
5. Spam filter
6. E-mail program corruption or other issues

The Solution Of this issue are :

1. Internet or Network connection missing :- First of all you have to check your computer is able to see the INTERNET and try to find out in other computers to ensure that your computer is not encountering a connection issue, which would be causes of your email issue

2. Issues with Internet or Network e-mail server :- Try to Ensure that your Internet e-mail server or your Network e-mail server is not encountering issues by contacting either your Internet Service Provider or your Network administrator.

3. E-mail program incorrectly configured :- you verify that your Email program is properly configure or not to connect to your Internet Server. It is very common for the e-mail program to have either the incorrect POP or SMTP address. Generally, the SMTP server is port 25 and the POP3 server is port 110. However, the actual POP3 and SMTP server name varies depending upon your Internet or Network providers. verify with the ISP or Network administrator that a SMTP block is not in place.

Generally, if a SMTP block is in place you will receive errors such as:

1. SMTP error
2. SMTP rejected
3. Server response 550
4. SMTP prohibited by administrator
5. Error 0x800ccc79

4. Security issues :- Spam filters can inappropriately cause you to be unable to receive e-mail. If a Spam filter is improperly configured by the Internet service provider or if your Internet service provider believes a message is Spam it will delete the message and that message will not be received by you.

5. E-mail program corruption or other issues :-If you have checked and/or verified each of the above recommendations and are still unable to receive / send e-mail, it is possible that the e-mail program may have issues and we recommend that you attempt to reinstall it.

Windows Vista and MAC Usage getting Higher

Windows Vista made its biggest leap yet in November — the operating system was in use on nearly one out of 10 Internet-connected computers last month, according to a research firm.

Vista’s exact share rose about one percentage point to 9.19% in November, up from 7.94% in October, according to Net Applications. Meanwhile, the Mac platform’s share continued to grow, reaching nearly 7%.

Windows’ overall share continues to exceed 92%, according to the Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based research firm.

Linux was in use on 0.6% of PCs worldwide, according to Net Applications. Despite its small share, Linux’s slice of the market has nearly doubled since the beginning of the year.

Vista’s share has grown from 0.2% to 9.2% since the beginning of the year. XP’s share, meanwhile, has fallen from to 78.4% from 85% at the beginning of the year.

Internet Explorer 7’s share continued to grow, reaching nearly 37%. It is poised to eclipse its predecessor, IE6, which has fallen more than 14 percentage points since the beginning of the year, to 40.2%. Altogether, IE was in use on 77.4% of Internet-connected computers, down from 80% at the beginning of the year.

IE’s main competition, Firefox, held a 16% share of all Internet-connected computers. That’s up from 13.7% at the beginning of the year.

Apple Inc.’s Safari held 5.1%, up from 4.7% at the beginning of the year.

Net Applications also debuted a beefed-up presentation of its survey results. As part of that, the firm showed off a map displaying Mac share by state headlined “Democrats vote for the Mac?”

The states with the highest percentage of Mac users, in order, were Hawaii (15.9%), Vermont, (15.1%), California (12.8%), Oregon (12.7%), New York (12.3%), Alaska (11.9%), and Massachusetts and Maine (both 11.2%).

The states with the lowest percentage of Mac users were West Virginia (3.5%), Mississippi (3.7%), Alabama (4.5%) and South Carolina (4.6%).

Net Applications noted the similarity to the map of blue and red states during the 2004 presidential election.
