È importante notare che non c'è motivo di rimuovere o la riduzione dei prezzi le lime aggiornate di sostegno che l'aggiornamento di Windows può installare su un pc. Non ci è prova che queste lime sono nocive o causano tutti i conflitti del software.

Ancora, se usate una soluzione corporativa dell'amministrazione della zona, quale WSUS del Microsoft (servizi) dell'aggiornamento dell'assistente di Windows, aggirate l'aggiornamento di Windows e nessuna lima sarà installata da WU.

Ma se siete una piccola impresa specifica o usando l'aggiornamento di Windows (o il relativi fratello germano, aggiornamento aumentati di Microsoft), potete essere interessati circa Microsoft che installa le zone prima che abbiate avuti una probabilità ricercare la loro affidabilità. L'estensione della linguetta dello IE li lascia commutare fra Firefox e la rappresentazione dello IE. Una volta che installato, non ho avuto difficoltà usando l'adjunta della linguetta dello IE per fare funzionare l'aggiornamento di Microsoft. Secondo il Web site del Mozilla, la linguetta dello IE funziona con le versioni di Firefox 1.5 3.0a5 diretti. Lo ho usato con 2.0.0.6.

Per installare Linguetta dello IE, vada al luogo di adjunte usando il suddetto collegamento. Scelga installano ora. The installer will restart Firefox when finished or prompt you to do so before the changes will take effect.

Just received the following that is related to the SVCHOST issues that I’ve written about in the past…

MS has released “Microsoft Security Advisory (927891) - Fix for Windows Installer (MSI)” that’s not really a direct security concern, but actually addresses concerns that might prevent people from getting critical security or other updates.

As previously mentioned, it involves MS KB 927891 - “You receive an access violation error and the system may appear to become unresponsive when you try to install an update from Windows Update or from Microsoft Update“, and the current revision of the article (8.0) states “This fix is one component of a two-part fix that includes a Windows Update client software update. These updates will be deployed automatically using Windows Update in May 2007 and June 2007.”

Again, this update is one of two that need to be applied to fully address the issue. The other update is version 3.0 of the Windows Update Client Software, available from MS KB 932494, “When you use Automatic Updates to scan for updates or to apply updates to applications that use Windows Installer, you experience issues that involve the Svchost.exe process“.
