Aujourd'hui je suis allé chercher CEH examen v5, Certification# 312-50 d'EC-Conseil, J'avais étudié pour lui pendant un moment. Il n'a eu aucune moins de 150 questions - et la jolie dure trop - mais je suis parvenu à le passer (85% qui est OK considérant la loi des USA faisait partie du Qs).

Je peux vraiment vous recommander pour aller chercher cet examen - c'est type d'autre de somethin ! Les questions sont courtes et exactes (encore choix multiple), mais juste processus d'aller il y a TRÈS frais et intéressant. Personnellement j'ai téléchargé beaucoup d'outils fantasmagoriques et les guides, ont créé un réseau d'isolement avec les machines virtuelles et examiné, examiné, examiné. C'était amusement que je peux vous dire - je ne peux pas sembler cesser d'étudier cette substance !

J'ai également lu 2 livres sur le voyage :
- Michael Gregg : Préparation morale certifiée d'examen d'intrus (très bonne)
- Tombes de Kimberly : Guide moral de revue d'intrus certifié par fonctionnaire (très dossier)

Si vous êtes un type totalement frais (et blanc) d'intrus déjà, vous pourriez aller chercher probablement le dernier seulement (il te donnera l'idée globale de ce qu'est cet examen

Avec le lancement récent du serveur 2008 de Windows vous n'êtes aucun doute passant toute votre heure libre jouant autour avec tout nouveau. Une chose que vous pourriez jouer autour avec est protection d'Access de réseau. Il y a un grand le document sur obtenir un DHCP a basé le laboratoire de SOMME établi mais une chose que le document est absent est comment configurer le client de SOMME dans XP SP3. Dans Windows Vista vous commencez simplement le service puis pour permettre le client par la configuration MMC (napclcfg.msc) de client de SOMME mais XP SP3 n'inclut pas le MMC. Ainsi comment on configure-t-il le client de SOMME sans outil de configuration de client de somme ? Netsh, celui est comment !

Pour permettre le client de SOMME sur XP SP3 que vous devez faire ce qui suit :

1. Début -> Course -> Services.msc
2. Change the Network Access Protection Agent service to start automatically
3. Start the Network Access Protection Agent service
4. Start –> Run –> CMD.exe
5. Type netsh nap client set enforcement ID = ##### Admin = “Enable”

You will need to replace the ##### with the ID based on whichever enforcement method you are using. You can use the following IDs for the various enforcement methods:

• DHCP = 79617
• RAS = 79618
• IPSec = 79619
• TS Gateway = 79621
• EAP = 79623

On January 24 MVP:Security Jesper Johansson posted a very good blog entry, "Do Vista Users Need Fewer Security Patches Than XP Users?", about Windows XP vs. Windows Vista security. This was in reply to the "One Year Vulnerability Report" by Jeff Jones (who is the Director of Security at Microsoft).

It’s VERY interesting reading  showing how strong Vista is - oh, and Jesper takes that even further comparing IE7 and Firefox patching. Cool stuff.

This is just to prove my point - a single AV engine is not enough if you want to be secure.

I had this problem today at a customer - a user had received a link in her Messenger… And she clicked it and probably accepted to execute the thing => Pooof (all her MSN Messenger contacts were spammed with links to the worm)!

We tried to use some different online scanners - as the local AV engines (no names mentioned) didn’t find anything - even after updating the signatures. The online scanners I tried first didn’t show anything. So, this particular online scanner turned out to be VERY cool and effective:
