Geen problemen.

In tegenstelling tot de de dienstpakken voor Vensters XP, is Pak 1 van de Dienst van het Uitzicht (SP1) AUTOMATISCH installeert. Dat betekent als u de Update van Vensters hebt die wordt geplaatst om updates automatisch uit te voeren, zal SP1 worden geïnstalleerde of u het of niet kiest. Dat gebeurde bijna vandaag aan me, maar ik kon het vertragen tot ik een schijf-beeld steun kon doen. Zie een vorige post „De Steun van de INVAL„over dat proces.

Dan stond ik de update toe om te werk te gaan. Deze computer is een middelgroot-hoog-eindsysteem met dubbele 2.7 GHz bewerkers, OVERVALT schijven 1 SATA, 4 GB van geheugen, en Uiteindelijke met 64 bits van het Uitzicht. De update vergde 27 minuten, van begin tot ik opnieuw het programma werd geopend. Het rebootte zodra tijdens installeer.

Ik heb tot dusver geen problemen bij allen ontdekt. Ik heb veel toepassingen geprobeerd, D.W.Z., Word, Word Perfect, het Centrum van de Media van Vensters, anti-virus, grafiekredacteurs, en veel meer die omvatten. SP1 heeft voor slechts een paar uren gelopen, maar tot dusver zo goed.

Vandaag hebben wij een niet-veiligheidsupdate die voor distributie via de Update van Vensters wordt gepland die u van wat belang kunt vinden. De niet-veiligheidsupdate KB947172, een Cumulatieve Update voor het Centrum van Media voor het Uitzicht van Vensters, behandelt een kwestie die door KB941229 wordt geïntroduceerdd waar, bij het letten op levende digitale TV op een Xbox 360, die kanalen verandert UI kan bevriezen. Deze update is inbegrepen in SP1 van het Uitzicht van Vensters.

Sprekend van SP1 van het Uitzicht van Vensters, zullen definitieve twee van drie in de eerste plaats vereiste updates nodig om SP1 van het Uitzicht van Vensters te installeren ook de Update van Vensters raken. KB937287 wat is worden de het onderhouden stapelupdate en KB938371 die een update is met meerdere componenten allebei vereist alvorens SP1 van het Uitzicht van Vensters te installeren. KB938371 zal niet aangeboden worden aan de Onderneming van het Uitzicht van Vensters en is de Uiteindelijke systemen van het Uitzicht van Vensters tot KB935509, de eerste eerste vereiste in de reeks van drie, geïnstalleerds. Both of the Windows Vista SP1 prerequisites are marked “Important” and will install automatically if you have Window Updates set to the recommended configuration.

I’ve said it before: these updates are just one more example of how we’re continuing to actively invest in improving the Windows Vista experience through Windows Update.

On Monday (February 4th), we announced the release to manufacturing (RTM) of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). Overall, people are excited to hear that we have reached this milestone, but some are disappointed they are not able to immediately download it.

In my blog post on the subject, I noted that we were going to make SP1 available to customers in stages to make sure we delivered a great experience. As I explained, one reason for this is that we are working through an issue with a small set of hardware devices that may not function properly after the Windows Vista-based PC they are installed on is updated to SP1. This is an issue with the way the device drivers were re-installed during the SP1 update process, not with the drivers themselves — these drivers worked on Windows Vista RTM and they work on Windows Vista SP1. For new PCs with Windows Vista SP1 pre-installed, this is not an issue.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 are not the only Microsoft products being released to manufacturing this week. Cecilia Cole, WSUS Program Manager, announced that WSUS 3.0 Service Pack 1 had also reached RTM, and was subsequently made available for download. But at the same time, the RTM stage of Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP1 following in the heels of Windows Server 2008 is not coincidental. Installing 64-bit Windows Vista Service Pack 1 from a 32-bit image of Vista SP1 is a move that has become possible with the latest stage in evolution of the latest Windows client. Along with a range of enhancements, Vista SP1 comes to the table with setup and deployment improvements. While end users will be only superficially impacted by the changes, IT professional and original equipment manufacturers will be able to enjoy the added benefits of the service pack.

Hi, Mike Nash here from the Windows Product Management group at Microsoft. Today we are excited to announce that we have released Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista to manufacturing (RTM) for our first set of languages (English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese).

Service Pack 1 is a very important milestone because it addresses many of the key issues that our customers have identified with Windows Vista over the last year both, directly and through programs like the Customer Experience Improvement Program. With Service Pack 1, we have made great progress in performance, reliability and compatibility. One of the great things about my job is that I get to play with the latest builds of our products — I’ve personally been running Windows Vista SP1 pretty exclusively for a few months and I’ve noticed that my systems run faster and more reliably than they did with the “Gold” release of Windows Vista.

When we first released Windows Vista last year, there were lots of customers who had great experiences, but some had issues finding applications that worked well on Windows Vista; others had problems finding the right device drivers for some of the hardware devices that they used. The
