Vista παραθύρων, οι χρήστες μπορούν να έχουν έναν εκτενή Έκθεση υγείας συστημάτων παραγμένος για τους στη βοήθεια να ανιχνευηθούν λάθη τα ζητήματα απόδοσης και αξιοπιστίας σε το PC τους ή να δει πόσο υγιές το PC τους είναι γενικά. Για το μέσο χρήστη, αυτό πιθανώς δεν θα σημάνει τίποτα. Αλλά για με, είμαι ο τύπος χρήστη που επιθυμεί πραγματικά τη δυνατότητα να δημιουργήσει τις εκθέσεις που με λένε για το PC μου έτσι εγώ ήταν πραγματικά συγκινημένος για να βρεί αυτήν την δυνατότητα Vista παραθύρων.

Αυτό το βράδυ αποφάσισα να παραγάγω μια έκθεση σχετικά με τον κύριο προσωπικό υπολογιστή γραφείου μου για πρώτη φορά και να δω τι λέει. Για να έχει μια υγεία συστημάτων η έκθεση παρήγαγε:

1. Ανοικτές επιλογές έναρξης.
2. Ο σωστός-κρότος «στον υπολογιστή» και χτυπά «τις ιδιότητες».
3. Στο παράθυρο ιδιοτήτων συστημάτων, χτυπήστε στην εκτίμηση δεικτών εμπειρίας παραθύρων σας.
4. Στις πληροφορίες απόδοσης και το παράθυρο εργαλείων, κάτω από «τους στόχους» στις αριστερές επιλογές το πλακάκι χτυπά τα «προηγμένα εργαλεία».
5. Κάτω από το προηγμένο παράθυρο εργαλείων επιλέξτε ότι «παράγετε μια έκθεση υγείας συστημάτων» στο κατώτατο σημείο.

Η έκθεση παράγει μετά από περίπου 60 δευτερόλεπτα της δοκιμής. Εδώ είναι η έκθεση Ι υγείας συστημάτων μου που παράγεται αυτό το βράδυ:

The new version of the Windows Live OneCare service is being made available today, running on both 32- and 64-bit Windows Vista systems (32-bit Windows XP SP2 is also supported).

We built OneCare because we know that most homes have more than a single computer (surely not news to you if you’re a reader of this blog), with PC security and maintenance being needs consistently expressed by both home users and small business owners. A lot of these customers run PCs without basic anti-virus and anti-spyware protection, and even fewer perform performance-enhancing tasks such as disk defragmentation and regular system back-ups. Furthermore, the plethora of digital photos stored on PCs means that more and more people are trusting their systems to archive digital memories, but given the general consumer’s lack of understanding of archival software, doing so becomes a risky proposition indeed. And, when you factor in the prevalence of wireless networks in use in homes and small-businesses, you quickly get the picture that there is a lot of data at risk out there and customers are ill-prepared to take the necessary precautions to ensure it.

Today, quite a few households have wireless networks that are unsecure - wide open for anyone to connect to. This could be a huge problem especially if PC’s in that home are sharing important family files - like photos and documents - that shouldn’t be seen by strangers. In Windows Live OneCare 2.0, a new feature is coming that will let users of Windows Live OneCare secure an unsecure wireless network in their home. I decided to give this new feature a try and share my experience.

Once I connected to the unsecure wireless network, I launched Windows Live OneCare and was alerted by Windows Live OneCare that I was on an unsecure wireless network and that it can help me to secure it. In my previous demo of Windows Live OneCare 2.0 (beta) I was pretty general about its features. But I’d like to dive a little deeper into some of the enhancements and features coming with Windows Live OneCare’s next major release.
