Microsoft entregó el primer póngase al día al Internet Explorer 7 en aproximadamente un año desde que la versión del browser inicialmente fue hecha disponible para Windows XP SP2 y el servidor 2003 de Windows. Junto con algunos pellizcos retorcidos de menor importancia al interfaz utilizador y al gráficos mejorados primero-funcione la experiencia y la descripción, encima de un viaje en línea reajustado y de una cómo-TOS actualizada, la nueva versión del Internet Explorer 7 trae una modificación importante a la tabla. If you perform a repair installation of Windows XP, you must first insure that you uninstall Internet Explorer 7 first. Otherwise, once the repair installation is complete, Internet Explorer 7 will no longer function. The reason this happens is because the repair installation will not restore earlier versions of the files in the Program files\Internet Explorer folder. This will make IE7 incompatible with the IE6 files that are installed in the Windows\System32 folder.

Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista is one of the aspects of the operating system applauded as a strong enough reason to justify upgrading to Microsoft’s most secure Windows platform to date. Essentially, the same browser is available on Windows XP SP2 and on Windows Server 2003; however, similarities stop when the Vista User Account Control comes into play.
