Windows 7 : How to Remove Windows 7 / Uninstall Windows 7 in dual boot with Windows Vista


There are many people are facing problem with Windows 7 and wants to remove/uninstall Windows 7 . Here is a way where you can Remove Windows 7 / Uninstall Windows 7 in dual boot with Windows Vista. This is possible when Windows 7 is installed on same drive as Windows Vista but on different partition.

1. Boot your system in Windows Vista, Go to System Properties (Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings(left)) , Click on Advanced Tab > Start up Recovery - select Vista or Older operating system as the default

2. While in Vista, Now go to Disk Management, you`ll be able to see the Windows 7 partition, recheck its the Windows 7 Partition , Right Click on that and Delete it.

3. Restart the System.

i had vista and win 7 in my lappy and have on more data drive…i have reinstalled mandriva linux in the win 7 drive…and due to this i have to face to boot option menu one my mandriva “which comes 1st and other which was the boot option with win 7 and vista…although the win 7 shows the error while selecting this as os has been no in the drive and vista is working good…but i want to erase the win 7 option from the boot menu and only one want only one boot os menu screen…please sugest me what could be the solution to do….
