Windows Vista Personalized Registry Tweaks
These Set of tweaks can help you get started in personalizing your Windows Vista And making it look like the Digital Version of yourself.
Enable Automatic Logon in Windows Vista
1) Click Start and type ‘netplwiz’
2) uncheck the “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer†box
3) Click ‘Apply’
4) That Opens a new dialog box, type the name of the account you want to auto-logon by default
5) Click OK and Exit
Get rid of those nasty Shortcut Arrows
1) Click Start -> On the run Dialog type “regeditâ€
2) Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > lnkfile
3) Rename ‘IsShortcut’ to ‘AriochIsShortcut’ in the right pane
4) Close regedit, Exit and Restart the computer.
Remove the annoying Tool Tips When You Mouse Over Something
1) Click Start -> On the run Dialog type “regeditâ€
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explorer > Advanced
3) Set “ShowInfoTipâ€=dword:00000000
4) Close regedit, Exit and Restart the computer
Remove Splash Screen in Windows Mail
1) Click Start -> On the run Dialog type “regeditâ€
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows Mail
3) set “NoSplashâ€=dword:00000001
4) Close regedit, Exit and Restart the computer
